I did a search to see if this was already being discussed but nothing came up so I figured Id throw this out there.

The video suggests it is the black knight. I dont know either way but there is some good footage here.
Im curious what others think of this footage.

Isn't "Secureteam" stuff supposedly fake? I'm no authority but I've seen that said here on ATS many a time.

I think there are segments of ats that would claim fake no matter what. Not saying this isn't fake but I do account for those people who will no matter what.

Perhaps some people have more experience than you.

It is fake , it is from secureteam10 and I believe it has already been posted.

Perhaps they do. Of course everyone always thinks they do. Didn't say it wasn't fake , opinions vary. I was pointing out some people here will always scream fake. Just like some will always scream real.

As far as experience someone posted on the other thread that it was easily fake and he could generate a similar fake in 20 minutes based on his experience with various software. I asked him to do it , upload the video of the final product along with a video of him creating it while running a timer. Not because I discounted his experience, I was interested in seeing it. Never saw another post from him though.

I always love posting with people who have experience though. Makes its a little more interesting.

SecureTeam is a bunch of hoaxers, and the "black knight" was a trunion pin cover...

Well then... I searched for several keywords but none returned the previous thread. If it has already been discussed and deemed a hoax then by all means mod... please delete this thread.

I wouldn't put much trust in what secureteam releases on their channel. As to this video they've done a nice job tying in UFO lore to give credence to a video that I'm confident is a hoax.

The still pictures in the video are pictures of space debris officially published by NASA. You can read more about the Black Knight Satellite in this thread here on ATS.

I thought the black knight was a heat shield of some sort...but yeah. Not a satellite

Do you read my post? Obviously not. Might try that before asking such a question.

I know what you mean. I've had a couple of threads removed due to duplicates despite having searched. Odd.

A couple things in the video tripped my BS detecter.

If this thing has been known about since the 50's and is believed to be of alien origin, why has there been no effort to capture and examine it? And if it's never been examined, who came to the conclusion that it's about 13,000 years old?

Secureteam and thirdphaseofmoon are known hoaxers and fakers, so watch out for any videos from them or endorsed by them. It's easy to get excited about this kind of footage, but be aware of who is putting it out there.

Every UFO source is apparently fake no matter how professional. If a legit source provider was around, chances are they'd be deemed a hoaxer as well. Secureteam like Thirdphase do upload videos without a main source in the description but they also upload from other sources so you shouldn't really rule out it as being fake just because Secureteam uploaded it. It's natural that it may devalues the credibility but to use that as the evidence of it being a "fake" would be a tad ignorant, especially without looking into it.

I posted on here a few weeks ago with a video uploaded by Thirdphase (the video had a main source not linking to Thirdphase), but it was instantly chucked into the Hoax bin because of the uploader. It's a bit ridiculous. People should do more research before jumping to this cheap conclusion.

Saying all that though, I remember seeing this and finding it a little suspicious as it didn't have a direct source and there was absolutely no reaction coming from the one recording it, plus there were no reports of multiple witnesses, but who knows.

Funny, because I typed two words into the search field.. The first one was "Black" and the second one..... was "Knight".
And the results were page after page of previous threads on it.

You do understand a professional source (whatever that is) wouldn't be pushing obvious hoaxes would they?

If a legit source provider was around, chances are they'd be deemed a hoaxer as well.

Only if they push hoaxes, then yes they would.

Secureteam like Thirdphase do upload videos without a main source in the description but they also upload from other sources so you shouldn't really rule out it as being fake just because Secureteam uploaded it.

Both of those are only using Youtube for money...more views equals more money. It doesn't matter where they got the video they upload it's the end result that makes them very, very questionable at best. And that end result is 99.999% a hoax.

It's natural that it may devalues the credibility but to use that as the evidence of it being a "fake" would be a tad ignorant, especially without looking into it.

Once you have been around long enough you understand how to spot the hoaxers...And it would be ignorant to think either of the two are going to actually provide a credible video...as they haven't done it yet, and don't see it happening any time in the future.

Again it's the end result that makes their videos hoaxes. They are praying the gullible accepts what they are saying as the truth, as they don't expect the viewer to do research on their claims, so when one does you see it is a hoax.

Saying all that though, I remember seeing this and finding it a little suspicious as it didn't have a direct source and there was absolutely no reaction coming from the one recording it, plus there were no reports of multiple witnesses, but who knows.

See that's how you can tell it's a hoax...if it makes you suspicious in any way, the best bet is it would be a hoax.
