*Snip* guns have nothing to do with tragedies like this. It was the medium used is all. He could've walked up with a machete and done exactly the same thing.

But he didn't, did he? They rarely ever do. What does that say?

Like it or not, guns make this kind of thing very easy.

The psychology of man is such that you will often not notice what you don't EXPECT to see. This has been proven in MULTIPLE studies.

Once the shot rings out is when you can't help but notice it.

no they don't make it any easier, they actually make it harder. The PERCEPTION is that they make it easier. It is MUCH easier to kill someone with an axe than a gun.

The interesting thing about his argument is that handguns aren't even illegal in Canada, anyway, nor are they particularly hard to acquire. You're limited to 10 rounds and it has to have a >4" barrel length, but that wouldn't have prevented anything here.

This ought to spice things up. It'll be interesting to see what comes of this manifesto

“Sometime between Tuesday night and this morning, ABC News received a fax from someone claiming to be Bryce Williams,” the network reported. “It is a lengthy document: 23 pages.

Absolute nonsense.

Cretins like this are looking for revenge and an easy way out - murder/suicide. What could possibly make it easier than something that can kill at distance, and then end your life - all at the push of a button?

Hacking two unsuspecting people to death with an axe takes a lot of work, finishing yourself off with it afterwards takes even more so. A tiny little gun that can do all three? Easy as pie.

No wonder puXXy types favour it.

I'm a realist. Is gun violence bad, sure all violence is. But no matter how much screaming and crying is done guns are not leaving. No law, no nothing is going to make it happen. Too many, too many people will go down swinging, constitution etc. The only way guns go away is with mass gun violence and death. So if you do not support that solution then it's best to concentrate on people who do stuff like this and what to do about that rather than all guns. If you do support the solution, not much I can say.

Just being real here.

Which are the "good hand" for gun ?
The only i can see are Hunter that aim animal.
All other gun/situation are for killing HUMANS.

I'm for non-lethal arm for Police man ( And keep guns only for HIGH risk situation when a murderer is on the loose or armed criminal )

I just dont get these things :
1- The "Freedom" that seem to procure guns for guns lover.
I can understand loving gun and wanted to own them. But why keep them in your house? Why not leave them in a gun. Because you feel save around a gun, how can you??
2- The "Safety of owing a gun". How can a gun protect you from a attack like we saw "live" today... Like i said in my topic, to survive a gun attack you need to 1-Get lucky and hide 2- Counter-Attack.
YEAH in this situation, i would prefer having a gun then nothing. But here in Canada these situation are freaking rare because gun mentality is not the same. We get and know that more gun = more killing.

That why Canadiens in general are HEAVLY for gun control. Only the conservateur are against it and they are 2nd in pool near 3rd place now for future election. NRA canada are funding Conservateur here too.

3- WHY gun control afraid gun owner ??? Why ? You are afraid to not pass their test? You are afraid that "Gun fair" will stop ?
I think if Gun Control are more strict, gun lover will still be able to get them. Only mentally ill person and other with criminal record will not be able to ( or have to go on black market, giving more chance to get caught/or press more charge after their murder ) Because i admit, you have 1 gun per citizen... NRA love it and will continue to make you get those killing tools.

About the "contry under monarchy hate gun" i think most if not all Europe are mostly anti-gun. With Gun-Control like Canada. It's more a question of culture. Your country you look like every kids have try a gun by the age of 8yr. And you look like Gun are the tool of liberation for you.

But mannn... The revolution was 200yr ago. Their gun are NOTHING like today gun man.

And for the other guy. The Bobby video, and i saw him said that live on CNN i remember lol.. When in your country you will talk about gun control ? Never ?
It's SURE when PROBLEMS happen like this on LIVE TV.... That show the world our a FAT-COWARD-RETARDED GUY can kill 3 person in less then 10 second...
It's just proof how OverPowered gun are in real life. When kid can kill a adult by accident... it's not NORMAL.... They can't kill a adult with a knife by accident, at least it more rare as hell.

Gun-Control will just make it harder to these f*ck to get gun. Or they will need to go on the black market giving at leeeeeeeeeast the police to get him maybe...

But anyway, you wont change before a technology breakthroug ( like a VERY good electric non-lethal gun ).

And stop making "gun-control lover" look like they want hunter loose their gun. + Freedom of killing is not a freedom. Buuuuuuut anyway, maybe in 30yrs you will get it.

P.S : I'm SO hoping the Trump make a anti-gun statement today and will win the GoP. NRA can't buy him haha, and he would brag all his live about how he won without the NRA. His Ego will get crazy!

I'm talking about Gun control! I know they are not illegal, but maybe rifle ( semi-automatic style ) that are legal in USA aren't here.

If you are Canadien you know that Harper is funded by NRA and he legalize many semi-automatic rifle in the past year!

In my friend/knowing people i have 2 gun owner/lover. They goes at gun club/hunting and had test to past and permit to get. But they neeeever bring them out to "show them off" or just to have them to "protect themself" like in the USA.

If you don't like guns, don't have one. But criminals do you say. Yeah a catch 22 isn't it. Also laws in the US and Canada aren't the same. No matter what is said guns are not going anywhere. That's reality.
