Got a link to his "Manifesto" or dash cam of police chase?
The TV station says they turned the fax over to law enforcement.
And yea, the police have already uploaded all their dash cam footage to YouTube for your viewing pleasure so hop to it!

They were doing a live TV broadcast during the entire event. They were on live TV. That explains why they were not paying attention to surroundings.

Yes. Mental health is a major issue. Drug addiction (not recreational use) and gun violence are related to mental illness.

Here is a link to the Discrimination Lawsuit that Flanagan filed in Florida in 2000.
Wow that is a federal lawsuit to boot.
And with the 11th circuit court of appeals, that is big stuff.
I wonder what the outcome was.

I don't know about you, but when I get into a TV show or movie I don't even know when other people come and go in and out of the room I'm in - provided that I have some expectation of other people being at home in general. Reporters, I would imagine, get a bit inured to the curious and hammy people trying to be close or to get into frame.
There are a lot of videos of people photo bombing in news reports, to the oblivion of the reporting crew.
