Yes Ceres is big enough..; now take a look on some of the older pictures of Ceres and spot the mountain and the bright spots, i see a big difference in reflective behavior and intensity.

sorry, i thought that everybody were just stating that the crater was a mountain, lol...my apology. Anyways, few days before the new bright spots from the new orbit!!!

If this is an ice spike then maybe Ceres is a dormant comet that was caught up and is orbiting along with the rest of the astroids.

Did a quick google search on any new photos of Ceres, didn't see anything new. Anyone know when we will get an update?
