Has the Chevy Corvette lost it's appeal?

Audi TT's around here are a big yawner, looked at kind of like a sporty cousin to the Toyota Camry (Alas, that's what I drive currently - I'd much rather have your Audi.) The new Corvettes, on the other hand, are turning heads like no Vette has in years.
IMO, the Corvette has the TT absolutely demolished in styling and performance. As rexsblues said, "except maybe amongst the weekend club crowd." I think that's the key there - the demographic (or more accurately social/cultural group) involved in the appreciation or non-appreciation of either vehicle.
