This country has turned away from God in all respects.

Can you give us an example of a country today, that IS following God, that has policy and morals we could look up to, and follow?

Honestly, no, if there was one my family and I would move there. The US had for a long time been a type of role model, people did look to us. We had a great influence on many countries.

Well, the Catholics set our to conquer and subdue the world, in the name of Jesus Christ, through the 15th Century Papal Bull called the "Doctrine of Discovery". The Protestants sent out missionaries to all corners of the planet to teach Christian doctrine and morals.

It seems that they've done everything that they possible could. I guess it's time for Jesus to come and show us how its done.

Windword, I guess people have been told the lie for so long everyone believes it.

But true Christians and Catholics are two different things and things that are different are not the same.

Decided to do a little research on him after watching his body language first with the sound off. Watching as he was waving his arms about and it appeared he was also shouting, then when he stopped his partner would take up the arm waving and what appeared to be shouting, I recognized this form of brain washing and didn't turn the sound on. Instead I went on a search to see what I could find on this man and his partner. I have added the link with the best information.

Apparently his predictions fail and he twists scripture. Not someone to follow.

Please don't take this as an insult, but we are to be careful of false prophets.

The day Christ returns is also the day of Armageddon, you sure you want that? I do.

Isn't that what this thread is all about? It's hopeless anyway, isn't it? Jesus is coming to destroy the world as we know it and there's nothing we can do about it. Right?

Instead of so called venom.
Let's use your golden book.

Mark 13:32
“But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Matthew 24:44
Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Matthew 24:24
For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

How are you exempt from these passages?

No, it's not hopeless, you just need to repent, ask Jesus into your life, and be saved. But if you don't believe in God it will be very difficult for you to do this. Hopefully if you see what I was saying in my OP happening, that you will turn to Him then.

All these scriptures you quoted were taught by Jesus before his crucifixion and they are for Israel in the future.

But Paul has a lot to say but you all seem to ignore his inspired writings of which he got from Christ.

No, it's not hopeless

Of course it is. My repentance will do nothing to stop the "evil tsunami" or the destruction of earth by your Jesus, according to the prophecy that you're promoting. Your plea is directed to the most selfish among your readers, urging them to save themselves through your belief. But the earth is not salvageable, just like in the days of Noah, it and all the life it harbors, is slated for destruction, according to your teachings.

Earth cares about Jesus. I had a college level Sociology textbook from 05 I think. It said that 1.8 billion people are Christian/ Catholic, then the next biggest religion was Islam and I think it said that there are something about 50 million Jewish people in the world. I am not sure of the actual number but being the first major religion around it wasn't the largest. Everyone who isn't online is religious , if you work in the community you might meet some of them. Online it's safe for people to bash religion but if some on this site went to a church or anywhere with there new age no deity ideas they might get into a fight. If you say things in the Bible Belt to people like in Bill Mahers Religulous movie people were offended and some didn't talk to him.

So now you don't believe in false prophets because Paul said something else so you have no problem diminishing your god's own words.

This is @ChesterJohn own words. Do not pay mind to what Jesus said before he died because they are replaced by the words of his imprisoned follower.

Please clarify if that is not what you meant.

I never said any such thing.

If people learn to rightly divide the word of truth as instructed in 2 Tim 2:15 then there would be far less people misusing scripture meant for one group and applying to another.

Please don't put words in my mouth. those were you words you used by twisting mine so that makes it yours not mine.

Before Jesus was crucified and risen his ministry was with the gospel of the Kingdom and his ministry was to the house of Israel and that by Jesus own words.

After the calling Paul things changed and the gospel of the grace of God was presented to ALL men via Paul. My point about Paul was he didn't speak much of the end except to point out in 2 Tim 3:1-5 that in the last days men of the church would be a certain way and they are today. Paul never pointed people to the end or judgement he pointed them to the cross.

Not all will be destroyed, those in Christ will go on to the Millennium.

My Op is not about Armageddon, it is the destruction of Mystery Babylon, the US.

The people are not Earth.

Earth is a big lump of rock massing gazillions of tons that doesn't "care" one whit about anything.
