Media blackout? Are you sure it's just not that big of an issue to get full blown national coverage? I mean it certainly IS a travesty that this happened, but why are you insisting we have a full blown media circus over this? Things like this happen all the time in the country. When the knockout game is refereed to it is because the people doing it, the ones throwing the punch, call it that.
They think it is a game.

It is a crime, and if racial motives can be shown, a hate crime.

Apparently you must remember the Dylan Roof situation differently than I do. Because what I remember was shortly after that happened the whole country was trying their DAMNEDEST not to accuse him of racism. That was until all his racist remarks came out and the conclusion was inevitable.
