There is a big difference and it is noticeable to anyone who is actually intellectually honest about American media and politics. The left aren't any saints, but the right has the left beat by a LONG mile as far as being insidious and pushing false narratives.

anyone still fomenting or supporting rebellion against the UNITED States should be tried for treason and punished accordingly.

Sure they're being warmed up on the "silly" stuff like this, but what exactly can the mob be "nudged" into doing?
Possibly demanding to defund an organization based on flimsy video evidence?
Or defending the same because they are told there is nothing to see here?
I thought we were talking about extreme actions the public can be "nudged" into doing. I didn't think that defending an organization because you are told to do so is exactly extreme.

This whole liberal P.C crap is getting out of hand, "this is offensive, that is offensive, this hurts my feelings, that hurts my feelings" to the point where they are trying to erase history, when the are omitting certain things from the school cirricculum etc
You know people walked passed the confederate flag everyday for YEARS until the liberal media told them to get angry about it and suddenly it was "ban the flag"...then the next month they will find something else to get offended over rinse and repeat...it must be exhausting living in a state of perpetual offence!
One of the most shocking things i saw come out of the confederate flag "ordeal" was this...
A group of protesters who want the body of an alleged Ku Klux Klan leader removed from their city have broken the soil over the grave.
The campaigners claim it has taken officials in Memphis, Tennessee, too long to exhume Nathan Bedford Forrest - who was a lieutenant general in the Confederate States Army.
They also want the statue of the soldier on a horse on the burial site to be removed. The rebel cavalryman, who died in 1877, has been buried in the city's Health Sciences Park since 1904
www.dailymail.co.uk...
are you serious?..
people need to stop using politics to vent their feelz, people get offended all the time, but SANE people get over it!

Depends on the subject at hand. The fact that people on either side believe the other side is the real problem is what's more amusing. " yeah were bad, but the other side is worse". And the illusion is sold and bought and becomes the reality. Trust me when I say for the people that support neither side, it's one of the biggest entertainment values the rest of society provides

You don't get it. I don't support either side either. I'd prefer to be an independent. When I say that the right is worse with their propaganda and lies. I mean it. It's true. Like I said, the left aren't any saints, but if you TRULY pay attention, the right is worse.
The only reason it looks like I'm a liberal is because I'm CONSTANTLY debunking all the lies pushed by the right. Every now and then, I get to debunk a lie pushed by the left, but it's pretty uncommon.

Southern pride seems to be an odd thing.
Lost the war. Receive the most amount of gov't assistance while complaining about too much socialism/gov't interference. Actively limits the liberties of citizens. Some of the lowest graduation rates of the Union.
Pride... shouldn't it really be shame?
