this is just a guess with minimal religious influence used.
As we all know in 2012 many were truly believing it was the end of the world or at least thought there was a possibility. It was so popular that is became a movie, there was a song and some other stuff but who cares. Large population were tricked but what if this 2012 gave us an indication into when he would arrive?
2 x 12 = 24
2024 is the year.

Yes there was not much research but this popped into my mind a couple of times so I wanted to share it.

If Satan's sin is selfish ego, you wouldn't even notice him in this world.

The Anti-Christ's are everywhere, why is everyone still looking for One Anti-Christ? How much worse does the world need to be before everyone stops waiting for it to get worse?

We are living in the world of the Ant-Christ's. Self seeking, Godless egos are everywhere.

I think the Anti-Christ has been hanging around at Walmart late at night these days testing people's turn the other cheek policies, hurt his neck and left already.

The story 'The boy who cried wolf' should be renamed today ....TPTB that cried wolf.

The wolf will come when enough people get tired of prepping or waiting, when you least expect it.

Read about the ten virgins that prepared their oil. They grew weary of waiting and 5 used up all their oil. When the time came only 5 had enough oil to light their way and five were left behind.

a reply to: waterLaw The answer could be comical or very. very serious. However, I am certain it has nothing to do with 2 x 12= 24 or 2024.

1. The Antichrist, Dajjal, and Armilus are fake. They don't exist, never existed, and never will exist.

2. People have labeled countless people as the Antichrist, Dajjal, and Armilus when it suited their needs. They've also labeled countless other people as the Messiah, 2nd Coming of Christ, Jewish Messiah, and Mahdi. To give an example, a fake Jewish Messiah started the 3rd Jewish-Roman War. And the extremist group that temporarily conquered the Kaaba in Mecca in 1979 believed they were following the Mahdi. And there's even a sect in Judaism today that keeps a "Messiah in waiting" candidate.

3. The "Sefer Zerubbabel" is the original source of most of the Armilus & Dajjal crap. It's ironic because in it, the Armilus is a Christian leader from Rome who is the offspring of Satan and a statue of Mother Mariam. The Tribe of Joseph's Messiah fights him and fails, but the Tribe of Judah's Messiah beats him & creates the new Kingdom of Israel.

To give a little context, it was written after the Byzantine Christians kicked the Jews out of Judea/Palestine in the 600s AD. The Jewish-Sassanid state had tried to kill off all Christians in Palestine & destroy all of their buildings, in order to create a purely Jewish state (sound familiar?). The Persian Sassanids didn't want it to go that far, even though they were also at war w/the Byzantines. So they turned against the Jewish leaders & allowed the Byzantines to crush them. The "Sefer Zerubbabel" was part of the Jewish apocalyptic writings to give the Jewish diaspora hope of returning to Judea. The Dajjal crap was the version later adopted into Islamic tradition (it's not in the Qur'an).

4. Just curious, but what makes this doomsday date any different from every other failed prediction? Seriously, how many times do we have to go through this before people just let it go? Worry about dying from heart disease, cancer, or a car accident, since those are things that will actually kill us.

5. I'm a Muslim, by the way.

If you are looking for a prophecy then I'll give you one.

A while back I found a curse in the Christian Bible. And it's still running. The quick and dirty version of it is this. John the Baptist wasn't supposed to die the way he did. Because of his murder it appears that it triggered the curse of Malachi. It's mentioned in the last 2 verses of the book of Malachi btw.

So looking for the details of the curse I found them in the book of Hosea. And it turns out the curse is supposed to be 2000 years long. So based on that and the Matthew 24 prophecy on the fig tree I put the start of the 1000 year reign of the saints as no later than May 15th 2028. But no sooner than August of 2025.

So the 3 and 1/2 year reign of the Antichrist should start between 2022 and 2025. You were close actually.

Oh, you want doom porn. Ok. Try this out. So far by my figuring I saw the first 5 seals of Revelation open between 9-11-2001 to the fifth seal opening in 2 of 2002. As of now we're in the short season of the 5th seal of Revelation. Which is also called the days of the tribulation of the carcass in Matthew 24.

So the event to look for when the 6th seal is ready to break? When the tribulation is over. And what is that tribulation? When the current mess in the middle east is over. It's the battle between the goat and ram of Daniel 8. So all hell is going to break loose as soon as the wars in the middle east are over.

The next couple of years at most is when number six should break.

Wow! You're like a Muslim Preterist. Fascinating. How many different schools of thought do Muslims have about their own versions of end times events and eschatology?

Umm, there's more than 1.6 billion of us. What makes you think we believe the same interpretations of events? Show me in the Qur'an where it says anything about a Dajjal, Antichrist, or Armilus. The Hadith & Sunna about it were added afterwards which is why it's not in the Qur'an. Islamic scholars will readily admit that the early scholars adopted principles & teachings from Catholicism & Judaism. In fact, they believe they were supposed to do that, using a passage from the Qur'an that basically says we should learn from other believers.

But think about it. God revealed the Qur'an over a 20 year time period & never once mentioned a dajjal, antichrist, or armilus. Instead, the Qur'an has many passages saying that no one will know when the Day of Judgment will come, and that there's nothing humans can do to hasten it nor delay it. So how can the stories like the Sefer Zerubbabel be true if they directly contradict what the Qur'an tells us about the Day of Judgment? Because that's the origin for that story.

There's even a passage that describes how the Prophet Issa/Jesus will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment & asked about the teachings attributed to him. But some scholars have taken that out of context to say him being resurrected is proof of his Second Coming, and claim that therefore the rest of that story about the dajjal/antichrist/armilus must be true as well!

As for the book of Revelations. I won't dissuade someone from following it if that's what resonates with them. But I'm not bound by it. I've studied many different Biblical writings, like the Pesh itta, Didache, abd Books of Enoch, and have my own opinions on those subjects & their writers. But that's neither here nor there.

EDIT: I don't mean for this to sound rude. Sometimes text comes off colder than intended.

I don't think you all think the same, but it's not like the various schools of thought are readily accessible to those of us in the West. I'm aware of 12vers to some degree, and I'm aware they are an offshoot so there must be other interpretations. But I did not know there were those who were essentially Preterist as we would term it.

So I asked a simple question. That's all.

Yeah I didn't mean it in a bad way. Even the major denominations are just umbrellas of smaller denominations & "schools of thought". Here's a basic wikipedia list. Though honestly, even this list is a very small amount of them. And every region & culture has completely different traditions & rulings which affect their interpretations, as well. That's why there are so many different forms of Sharia law which can completely contradict other forms of Sharia law.

I probably should've warned you but I'm not a Sunni. So it's not a surprise that I don't agree with the different Sunni sects on the dajjal/antichrist/armilus, either. Edit to add: I just feel like the major denominations added so many extra things that their Islam has become different from the Islam of the Qur'an. And anyone who reads the Qur'an in its entirety will immediately see major difference in what it actually tells us compared to what people tell us we're supposed to think or believe.
