This isn't anything earth shattering really, I just thought this was a pretty cool picture of a A KC-135R Stratotanker, with the 121st Air Refueling Wing, at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, Ohio sitting under the blue moon tonight 7/31/15.
I cant say as I know a heck of a lot about planes, but I do know I sure love to look at them and watch them fly. Spent many a hour at the end of the Fort Lauderdale runway and seen some crazy things!

I thought you might like it too Zaphod. A little something for you for all you do around here and all the patience you exercise!

Nice picture find. The contrast in the moon, to the KC, to the red reflective tags. These are the shots photographers dream of.

Oh my father hated the Q model. He could walk around a -135 blindfolded and tell you where he was around it. But the Q had that extra antenna under the fuselage. He hit his head on that thing every. Single. Time.

I got 3 staples in my head from that one. The engineer that placed it there must have had a beef with mechs.

I actually found something worse recently. The external power plug for the Draken.
