I'm a bit confused though I read the article I have no idea what the name of the band is, could someone please tell me, the reason I would like to know is because though I am american I listen to J-Rock.
Klack, a Japanese band that was one of 12 groups featured in the concert, showed the video for more than 10 minutes, local media reported

Doesn't it all depend on the context in which the video was shown? It could very well have been a tribute, or a rememberance. It's impossible to tell what the point of showing the video was from the article. I don't think you should jump to conclusions about the band or the show before knowing for sure what their intent was.
