Xbox One's HoloLens Demo using Minecraft...Holodeck here we come!

At the latest E3 Microsoft demoed their latest Hololens virtual reality device.

If you like virtual reality, and you like Minecraft, then settle in my friends and get ready for the future in gaming.




After seeing the Hololens in action my hopes for it, the Oculus Rift and Sony's Project Morpheus VR helmets are definitely high. In our lifetime we may get to experience something like a Holodeck in Star Trek.

I don't see what the big deal is about Minecraft. I could never get into it, but it does seem like a great game to show of Microsoft's tech. Fifty years from now, we're all going to be laughing about how big these headsets are. Just watch...

i just hope microsoft DOESN'T do what it does best:
create something, and then reduce or flat out stop the development.
They did that for the tablet (then apple took over)
they did that for the windows mobile phone, just to then updated it and again keep development at a bare minimum.
they did it with kinect too.
so pretty please microsoft don't be your usual self for a change!

HAHAHAHAHA!!! See the hololens can be used in alot of neat ways. Imagine using it to play a shooter and actually taking cover? Releasing some gloves along with this would be needed to interact with virtual object eventually. just wirelessly connect them to the hololens.

Imagine watching a 3-d movie with this. Horror movies would really be scarier then. or a Facehugger!!

If they were to pair this with something like the Xbox's Kinect, where your movement is independently monitored along with the vr headset, then you could literally duck for cover and the games AI could recognize that.

I don't know if my heart could handle a face hugger running around even if it was virtual.

I hope they don't drop the ball on this.

True, and id not play that with a facehugger. scary thought,but id go to the strip club in GTA5 lol!!
