Running! Missy! Clara! Clara! CLARA! Clara and Missy?! It is a trailer full of questions and Zygons and the Doctor plays a guitar, what?

So, I liked most of last season, but I thought it was an odd choice to kill off Missy so quickly after the big reveal of her identity. Given who she is, I suppose it makes sense she'd find some way to squirm out of death's grip. That's the highlight of the trailer for me. Close second: lots of Clara. Close third: mysterious woman at the end!

I've got goosebumps.

LOOOOOOOKS THE TARDIS INTERIOR HAS RETURNED BACK TO THOSE CIRCLES COOOOOOL

There is speculation that we may get a setting on Skaro - Home of the Daleks.

Oh, it is going to be so good. I'm really digging Capaldi as the Doctor. Old, angry Scots are exactly where it is at.

A very good friend of mine is in at least one of the new episodes of this but refuses to divulge any information as to what happens.

I have not seen the new doctor yet but it looks interesting to say the least.

Keep in mind I haven't seen any of the television series. I've only read the books.

Holy Crap Balls! I can hardly wait. I love Peter Capaldi as Dr. Who.

I thought I'd never get over David Tennant leaving, then I fell in love with Matt Smith. Now I can't imagine a better Doctor than Capaldi. He was just getting warmed up last season.

Sept. 19, then? So is that a worldwide date or will the rest of the world get it a bit later? I guess I could look it up but I'm lazy.

For those of you unaware here is trailer number 2 for the new series of Doctor Who.

I like the dragon. I love the dragon. Dragons are cool.

Looking forward too it, but I am ready for the Dr. to have a new companion. Clara was great with Matt Smith as the impossible girl. I just don't think she is what Capaldis character needs.

The young lady at the end of the trailer is Maisie Williams, the actress portraying Arya Stark in the television series. You should check it out, the show does a better a job with book 5/season 5 than GRRM(just sayin)

Countdown is on
Tonight is the night.

I'm slothing on the lounge all day watching the doc on TV and eating Cheddar Ruffles and mini kit kats whilst drinking diet coke

Best day off I've had in ages! (except the kitten that keeps jumping on my toes biting them)

ETA Capaldi is how I always thought the doctor should be! The best since I was kid.

"Breakfast with Baker" is on BBC America.

Classic. Genesis of the Daleks 4 hours

ETA, last nights season premiere reference this old episode to the tee.
Skaro looks the same, the war, the use of bow and arrow in trench warfare because the war has gone on so long they lost resources and went back to old battle tactics. Tom Baker empties his pockets and the same yoyo that Capaldi uses in this incarnation is there !

Wonderful production research keeping it cannon.

a reply to: alldaylong It has been 9 seasons since the reboot, not since the very beginning.

Without giving any spoilers, I did not feel the last scene was cannon at all. No previous incarnation would have handled it that way.

I am hoping next weeks episode proves events to be different than implied. That said, I love Missy.
