Remember that in a Laissez-Faire economic system the price of everything would be 5% of what it is now, and money kept at home would gain in buying power at about the rate of interest and profit.

All of the monetary problems we have now are due to plans that purported to fix something.

Let it be and the wealth inherent in normal unrestricted economic activity will yield the best possible world.

ETA Real education is done by the motivated student. No matter how many hours a person sits through, a person can only use the knowledge that they have taken in and understood.

Entrance and proficiency exams are the best way to orient education. The learning itself is up to the employee or student.

We will use a sliding scale corporate and private tax program to fund the program. The better we do at creating private jobs the more money we get to keep. If we can't create private jobs, the more money we have to share.

So basically, you have a bad on for small business?

A small business survives on the margins and cannot afford to simply up and hire more people in order to get a tax break.

I don't think understand that an employee whom you only count as a $30K salary really costs the employer more like $60K by the time you factor in all the employment rules. You would have to offering SOME tax break to make hiring that employee worthwhile, and at the same time, you tax the business more to punish them for NOT doing it thus drastically slowing down the time it will take before the business would be able to make such a plan viable?

That's just plain unworkable right there. You wouldn't be fostering job growth anywhere like that.

Also, electronic education is not the answer.

Studies show that writing something down helps to facilitate knowledge mastery. There are actual differences in the brains of kids who spend screen time learning and kids who actually own the knowledge the old-fashioned, tree-killing way, which is why we are paying the money to send our kid to just such an old-fashioned school.

He will get a reading program designed to set him reading at his own pace, but that doesn't have to be through an all computerized system. Round about 1st grade, they'll test his lexile and set him up from there with books he's ready to tackle no matter his grade level.

Also, if you computerize math and reading instruction, you need less staff not more, so what will you do with all those bureaucrats? Not to mention the bureaucrats are often specialized and not classroom specialized. Not all of them will be willing or able to teach. You will in fact have to let many of them go.
