I dont mean to be-little the events unfolding in asia at the moment but i couldnt help thinking that there will be people making lots of money from
the sunami disaster in thailand?
If you wanted to get drugs out of the country at the minute then it would be an oppourtune time with all the focus on its state of emergency to ply
this trade?
Its probably an opportune time in any of the countys effected?
I dont mean to offend anyone by taking the limelight off the main disaster but does anyone see the issue ive risen and realise what the long term
effects could be in this particular area?
Thailand is very corrupt, in the island of Phuket alot of people have to pay for "protection" if you want to own a boat or open up a bar, office
divecenter and so on....the interesting thing is that you put the money on a bankaccount that belongs to something called the "Local policesports
fund" so its not the mob but the police who gives you the "protection"
In would be more concerned over the potential increasing level of child pornography and abuse than drugs. This already is a scandal and when people
are desperate those who pray on the weak emerge in even larger numbers.
Yeah as a matter of a fact I've heard of some hitters in the Thai underground legitimizing through donations and buying up formerly valuable
property. Hehe no I am not gonna cite sources, think about it. In this window of relaxed customs and chaos there are major moves being made but
don't look for it to hit the news. Bottom line there are moves going on behind the scenes and money is changing hands alot of it in free aid material
being sold/misapropriated that happens during every disaster though.
