West Coast toxic algae bloom largest ever

The largest toxic algae bloom ever ever recorded is currently spreading along the US coast. Dangerous levels of the toxin domoic acid have shut down recreational and commercial fisheries. This is likely a combination of the warm water blob and warmer than usual temperatures.

We have been having MASSIVE jelly fish dying and washing up. In over 55 years at the beach, we have never seen anything like it.

I completely agree with you. I have been thinking and saying it for years and now this is happening. Hmmm...

Nothing to do with Fuku, this is the predicted, and evidenced global warming hitting the oceans, interacting with overfishing for decades.

Algae blooms are also causing some coasts to turn blood red right now. It's a global phenomena, that isn't going away.

So it's going to rain in cali due to warmer water?
