Unfortunately it might take some time to fully impeach the clerk(s).

KY state funded Legislative Research Commission report on KY impeachment laws (1991):

www.lrc.ky.gov...

The clerk(s) must first be impeached by the KY House of Representatives and then put on trial in the KY Senate.

Unless a judge decides to jail the clerk(s) for contempt, it appears there is quite a long process to remove the clerks(s) from office.

my personal opinion is that they are all afraid of homosexuality turning out to be a smash hit in their neck of the woods. gets awfully lonely out there.

They should get started then.

Call his bluff and see how long he holds out.

Government official vs private entity, really thats the same, face palm moment right there.

this woman isnt a gov "entity" shes a woman at a job practicing her right to conscience and religion , on a decision that she didnt get to vote on........

The only facepalms needed are for people like you who cant parse that

Your beliefs don't matter at all when you work for the gov, sorry. Working as a city clerk makes you a representative of the legal bindings of the land. Your opinion is worth nothing.

Bye Felicia.
