I love Escher, the first artist I ever got a book of his artwork.
A genius, he mastered optical illusions, surrealism, realism, geometry/mathematics (but apparently he wasnt even a mathematician), perspective, all whilst working mainly with black and white engravings!

It's "The Tall Man" from the "Phantasm" movies and the deadly floating sphere....It's a photoshop I did for a site years ago.
