Go here and download the version for your operating system and enjoy. Tvmc is Kodi already configured for you.

tvmc

Use a laptop with HDMI and hook it to your tv (hopefully you have hdmi) and voila, your set! You don't have to have a android box but they are cool too because they utilize remotes. Kodi will allow you to use a corded Xbox controller to control it.

Whatever one you decide on I would make sure it's a quad core. It will run a lot faster and smoother. Kodi seems real demanding when it comes to processing power. It will work on dual core but you'll notice slow down of the processor.

You do realise some of the sources stream direct from illegal torrent sites right? Just like certain third party apps you can download to your Android or iDevice of which some have been shut down. Also, if your ISP is one of the majority who block certain well known torrent sites it will fail to stream completely.

Just thought i'd inform.

Believe it or not, in my experience, that doesn't necessarily pose a problem.

Among my friends, there's a big group of us who use these boxes across a range of internet providers (e.g. SKY, BT, Virgin, Talk Talk).

All those providers block the biggest & best torrent sites as standard. But nevertheless, the streams are still abundant and work well.

Which is quite interesting, now you've mentioned it.

They must be dipping into a different pool... I have no idea

I'm no stranger to this kind of thing, used to have Virgin broadband which in my eyes is the best in the UK, everything worked bar one, unfortunately i had to move and ended up going with EE, get some great speeds but man they throttle and aforementioned problems are abundant with them. Circumventing it via proxies work and the like but it's a hassle.

Was just to inform is all, these could be a headaches worth of issues for some people who aren't tech savvie.

As far as I'm aware Optimus, viewing streamed material isn't illegal in the UK.

Happy to be educated otherwise if I'm wrong... although be warned, I'll be completely devastated & might have to take you off my Christmas card list for ruining my viewing

I'm in Canada it is perfectly legal here XBMC isn't downloading, however it is illegal to send streams of the content just not illegal to receive streaming content for now.

If you'll use the tvmc link from earlier you won't have to install Genesis or the like. It takes all the work out of it.

Phoenix is good too.

I've used Xbmc (Kodi) for over two years without any repercussions. Just saying.

Just the ones you're already familiar with. Primewire (ice films), Genesis (my favorite), and Phoenix. They all work the same but sometimes I've found stuff releases on Phoenix earlier than the others.

If you decide to just stick with Genesis you can't go wrong. It's probably the best overall one for now. They have changed in the past so there may be a different one in a year.

Happy watching! I've caught up on so many shows with this. If you miss your favorite show just wait about an hour after it airs and it most likely will be on there.

I would not want that
But seriously we need to get away from television in general there is a reason why its called television programming..We need to get back to our roots and start reading classic books(my fav is odyssey and iliad) And go outside play sports etc. We are all in the biggest movie production in the Universe and its called earth..We need to start living our lives and stop watching others fake lives.
