Wow, there's a shock, calling American's uncivilized, brother, don't you know that those who live in glass houses shouldn't hurl projectiles made of hard earth fragments?

Having just been to Europe, I will only say that I am proud of my Lodge and witnessed nothing on your end showing me any signs of "advanced sophistication".... sigh....

What I meant by Illuminati is it was created in the same mold as the Priory, one man's ego chase, but then you knew that right?

Seek the truth....

Another theory, is that the baravian Illuminati was created by the reall illuminati to be more "public". In other words, the bloodline recreated themselves. (Just add more depth to the illuminati theory)

It must come as a terrible shock for the preists currently working in Long Island for the "Priory of Sion" i.e. Chevaliers de Notre Dame Ordre Religieux Militaire Souverain de Jerusalem, to know that they are a creation.

How come if they are a creation they have an address and a website and episcopal orders of association from the catholic church?

Unless you are speaking of the creation of a servant from France in 1956, then we are speaking of two different priorys my friend. Move on....

I did not call Americans uncivilized, I issued a brief critique of modern culture. Surely one as cultured as yourself can tell the difference?

Also, you have apparently assumed that I am European. In fact, I am an American, have lived in the USA my entire life, and have been involved in American Masonry for years. My critique of American culture comes from my own personal experience.

I apologize for being so unenlightened, but I just don't see your point. The Illuminati was an original creation, while the Priory was an attempt to cash in on a myth. They are apples and oranges.

You know, you sound like a fella I used to know, named FreeMason....

Only guy I could argue with and respect at the same time.

Illuminati was created to cash in on the Bavarian myth by a gentlemen with way too much money and time on his hands, only difference between him and platard is that he is still alive.

For an accurate history of the historical Illuminati, which was not mythological, I recommend the following page:

freemasonry.bcy.ca...

And I could like you to an "accurate" history of the Priory or Jesus's marriage, does that make then correct?

Hapsburgs, Rothschilds, blah blah blah...

Some people want so hard to believe in a conspiracy that they miss the truth right in front of thier nose.

Show me a verified source not a net link, and I mean verified, not John Hackey's "Guild to the Illuminati and six other fun Cults"

You give human's way to much credit, none could keep quiet for so long....

Bilderburgs, Belgium Banks, Russia, blah blah blah...

Highest Regards and best wishes in your quest to out the hidden...

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what the hell you're talking about, and from your post it is obvious that you did not read the webpage I gave you.

I do not believe in the ridiculous "Illuminati conspiracy theories". And the web page I listed above is not a conspiracy theory website, it's the website for the Grand Lodge of British Columbia, who won the E-Mason Award a couple of years ago for its vast information on Freemasonry and kindred subjects. The site is well known in the online Masonic community for its integrity of scholarship.

Furthermore, no one has ever denied the Illuminati existed. Adam Weishaupt, its founder, even wrote a book defending the Order against its slanderers.

The Illuminati was, in fact, just one of many pseudo-Masonic rites that popped up in Europe in the late 18th century. It wasn't very important, and did not exist very long. It was not an evil cabal, it was just a fraternal order dedicated to needed change.

The arguement against the existance of the Priory of Sion is classic strawman, through and through. It relies entirely on finding the least credible part of a history and judging all by that yardstick alone...

Before anybody "moves on" basing opinion wholely and solely on the tesimony of Pierre Plantard alone, consider the following links,

Masonic Light is correct

The Baravian illuminati has never been denied because the records show that it DOES exist and the Baravian Illuminati was very open order. Some say it either A) disbanded or B) it was forced underground

Agreed.

And if Wizard will not believe the research and writings of Masonic historians, he may check the history of the Illuminati from a completely unbiased source, i.e., a reference encyclopedia in its article on the Illuminati here:

I don't know anything about the illuminati.... but I have a feeling these 2 families are associated with world domination.

Vladimir

www.ancestry.com...

Mohn

www.ancestry.com...

maybe one could even track a likely family with this site... it wouldn't prove anything, but it does show the regions these families mostly live in, say, the powerful states, california, new york, texas, florida
