Do We Humans Have Souls or Are We Angels Placed in Human Form To Be Tested?

I can feel the bashing waiting to start, but I am too stupid to not ask this question nonetheless. After reading the Bible and noticing that while angels are mentioned in many important announcements and occasions, there is very little written of them. So I read the Book of Enoch which had much, much more detail on the spiritual beings that those who believe in them, call angels. So I started thinking about that and it occurred to me that if God created these spiritual beings that we call angels and some of them revolted and were cast out and some of them lusted for mortal women and Fell, perhaps God questioned the loyalty of at least some of those angels that remained and conceived a way in which He might not only test them but provide for them a way to prove their worth.

Might He have sent them down to inhabit mortal bodies and experience, unknowingly, the temptations of the flesh that their brothers had lusted for to see if they could come to the realization of what they had missed? I have considered this and have come to no conclusion myself, though that concept is rather exciting IMHO. I was just looking for feedback and hoping that the beating that comes from asking such a question is one that I can handle without loosing it myself.

It's a scary idea at the same time. What if you mess up so much as a human, not knowing your inner beauty. You soil yourself so bad you are not even worthy of being a human.. Seems quite the risk.

Unfortunately, I have not been that good a man in my lifetime, though I do try as best I can. I was wondering more so if there are others out there that might be. I have actually met one who was either the spawn of the Nephilim, thought he was the spawn of the Nephilim, or just pretended to be one and that was very disturbing to say the least. I question such possibilities just so that I can have a better grasp of what the situation may be my friend.

My tattoos would freak you out...and I hate it here...

I had a strange night last night to say the least. Probably too strange to post about. Ended up being tazed a few times, and a police officer tried to plant a razor blade on me.. Lot's of people telling me it's ok to fall every once in a while we are here to pick you up WIDE GRIN... Strange night.

Seemed like they thought I was someone in particular.

That's funny. My brother and I discussed tats years ago and he wound up getting two on each arm and then my daughters each got one on alternate shoulders, angel wings as a matter of fact. Decided on tee shirts as an alternate. Now hating it here, well my heart goes out to you on that one. It is certainly not an easy place in which to exist.

Sorry to hear that, yes the cops can be a bitch, no doubt. I have never been tazed though I did get hit with 480 VAC on two occasions while doing electrical wiring and if not worse then certainly similar. My heart goes out to you.

So, because some angels revolted and mated with human women, you believe humans are angels being tested? What about the humans with whom they mated, then?

I've had the hammer back barrel up at least once just could not do it. like some sort of mental block, I really wanted to but I guess I wanted to live more or finish some business here first. I often think about self checking out from a existential standpoint not like from depression but the what if...I hope I'm right about my gut you know what I mean? Like wanting to go home but it's against the rules.

Funny thing about that too I saw an episode of Ancient Aliens (I know I know) that said their was this cult back in the day that figured that life here on earth for them the common folk and oppressed was so bad that they would rather just die and go to the promised paradise if they were good of course. Now they didn't want to off themselves (that whole natural block thing) so they would go and provoke people to attack and hopefully kill them. Well this wasn't really working so well so then they just resorted to doing it themselves.

So this cult and its early check out theory are getting really popular amongst the people and the church goes "WHOA, WHOA,WHOA" were losing so many of our flock it's starting to hurt our pockets and oh NO,NO,NO not having that. So the church adds suicide to the bible or whatever rule book they go by that "suicide" is forbidden with horrible consequences.

As for hating it here it's not so bad it's just seems like the overall "spirit" or "essence" of the passing generations becomes more and more corroded. I'm just tired and ready to go home what lies after this place is so much more amazing if I got it right of course. If not then back in line. I don't know exactly what I saw that one time I astral projected in my youth but it both awed and terrified me. I also remember having a very talkative imaginary friend which urged me not to mention them because people would not understand, odd I know but I think as children our minds are so much less cluttered could we be more receptive to "others" if you will.

I don't have any answers just questions...

As far as I know, Angels are bodiless souls/spirits, humans have a body and a soul so it goes. Thus, by definition the OP is mistaken, or that the bodiless souls..the Angels, are getting the pee taken out of them by some other entity.
On a day to day/eternally basis, that's not going to work is it? Like eternity, it won't ever go away.

Eh, don't trip, its just peoples opinions.

The idea goes, that god made angels first, and they wanted to know what it would be like to feel feelings, experience glandular, erm…secretions or whatever.

So longing to be human they interacted with humans and gummed up the works. Then God decided to make angels in the future by letting them be human first, that way they wouldn't wonder or "miss out" on being human.

Its a stupid story, I'm not even sure I got that right, just what they taught in the church growing up. I'm not sure they knew what they were teaching.

I know the feeling I was there myself once a long time ago. There is something wrong about it, I can feel it in my gut, it is sort of like cheating on a test, an important test. Bette to fail on your own that cheat and gain nothing if you know what I mean. I myself have seen and done so much, and have been given so much, yet I have been so disappointed and so let down by so many around me at so many times in my life that it is very easy to lose any or all hope. it can be so damned depressing. I am not sure what it is that I am able to tap into to pull myself back up and keep slugging it out day after stinking day, but my Faith sustains me and at the end of the day my relationship with the Creator is the recharging that keeps me from losing hope. Hang in there, what does not kill us makes us stronger.

I agree with pretty much all of that. I too have been through some amazing things and been so blessed yet still feeling cursed. Some days I feel like I'm "better" than most and other days I feel like I'm the biggest POS on the planet. I believed in "traditional god" once but now I don't know I believe only what I feel in my heart. I have unfinished business here I don't know what it is yet but I will when the time comes.

I for one do not buy into the "Knows Everything never changes or modifies His plans lie of thought. To me, reading the Old Testament and then the teaching of Jesus, it is very apparent that God DID change His approach to our species. I think God changed the rules because He found out that the original game plan did not work.
