Another question:
Some people think that suppression of speech that might happen to offend someone, sometime will bring about utopia,
how does that lead to utopia rather than totalitarianism and oppression?
Some people think that eliminating everyone's incorrect thinking (political/religious/etc) will bring about utopia,
how does that lead to utopia rather than totalitarianism and oppression?
In utopia, how then does one decide what is correct speech and correct thinking?
"The Giver", I highly recommend the book,
(it is a book written for Jr High age, so is a quick and easy read,
but is the seminal work of our time in my opinion)
is an example of a utopia built on never offending anyone
or allowing anyone to have hurt feelings or be unequal.
But how does utopia achieve that without quietly murdering or jailing or "reeducating" those with incorrect speech/thought/religion/ideas, as Stalin,
Mao, and Castro have done to attempt to achieve perfect utopia?
