Heartless People

Seen this on the news a few days ago. Still has me mad as #^%!
Man was hit by 5 different cars and not one stopped!
Was all 5 riding dirty and have no soul!
No way you can hit a man and not know it!

You could revise your thread title to 'heartless and brainless people'.

When I was living in Vegas, someone told me about a similar incident that happened where a woman was hit by one car, finished off by another, neither stopped, and then some people approached the corpse to steal its purse and valuables before running off into the night. someone did witness this happen within a matter of minutes while they were on the phone with 911.

Not everyone. I am quick to let people know if you want to talk to me , call me. That is more personal and respectful for both . And if they really want to "TALK" to me we can meet in person.What the ----- is all the texting about ,anyway ? I tried at start and found it very distasteful . If the case was the drivers were texting , I hope they charge them all with the maximum sentence.

there is more than one way to help

Something happened similar where I am from. A guy on a motorcycle was tapped by a car and he lost control. Four cars behind him ran him over, not one stopped. He was drug under one of the cars for a while before he fell out. Sadly, he died. They never could find the four drivers.

I thought maybe the people could not stop as would be true in some places, but NO this is the place, everyone could safely stopped plus he was most likely in the crosswalk!.

Are you suggesting that calling 911 should be enough and no need for them to stop?? Sure maybe some bystanders called 911 that does not excuse the hit and runs nor the actual witnesses.
