It's more likely streaks from some sort of material flow (as described in my post above).

It doesn't look like a rock, and the object on that the OP had outlined is probably not an object at all, but rather just a different part of the dark flow material. Whatever it is, the streak heading away from the thing the OP said is an object is definitely not a shadow.
