Long time lurker/member coming back

Used to have an account with ATS years ago but cannot remember what it is. Been lurking for the past few months and I see a lot has changed. More ads, but the site layout looks much nicer than I remember. I think the last time I posted on ATS was back before the Project Camelot falling out. So it's been a while. ATS will always have a place in my heart no matter how it changes or evolves. I'm glad to see a lot of the long time members are still posting.

Like a lot of people, 9/11 brought me here. And from there it's been a bumpy ride. Always trying to toe the line between truth and reality. Not knowing the truth about things make existence seem so pointless. I guess places like ATS have allowed me to explore alternative conclusions to the many questionable circumstances of humanity, which eases the feeling of hopelessness in a world that doesn't want to be fixed.

Some stuff about me and what I like:

I love doom porn. Naturally, we all get more and more skeptical the older we get (and hear the same predictions with a new date attached) but it's always nice to read a doomsday prediction that hasn't been done before. Secret societies are among my favorite topics, as well. I'm also always up for a good ET theory, although I don't believe we are being visited by any. I'm what most people would call an agnostic, but honestly I don't know what I am and I don't care

I have been a member of ATS for 4 years; and has time goes on I realize how important ATS is to people who think outside of the box. I think it is great you have come back; you'll get emotional and intellectual support here.
