Point of correction. Finland was not occupied by Nazi Germany. Finland and Nazi Germany had a common enemy - the Soviet Union. The Soviets had attempted to invade Finland starting hostilities in November 1939, proving the old adage "the enemy of my enemy, is my friend". It all soured in the end though.
