You're not missing much, apart from late night lectures on the evils of Western Civilisation....

I agree, it does seem to be a "sledgehammer", but at the moment, OFCOM have very limited powers to removing such things from the air. As it stands, they seem to be limited to fines and this was after:

a host said it was acceptable or even the duty of a Muslim to murder anyone who disrespected the Prophet Mohammed.
