So there are some pictures circulating the web claiming there is a crystal clear alien spaceship, something that you would see right out of star wars, behind the ISS.

Here are the images.

My first reaction was it is a reflection of some sort but I am, by far, no expert in photography. I'm pretty sure this is no alien spaceship so someone please explain this to me.

I may need help seeing this one.
If it is crystal clear, I should have some difficulty seeing it though, right?

Nice try at being witty. But I think what you meant was "I shouldn't" not "I should".
And it's the blue object on the right.

I wouldagree its a reflection, if you can zoom in on the brownish portion of the "Spaceship" directly below the blueish portion you can see they are actually identical.

Sorry, I see the brownish part, what exactly is it a reflection of though?

Aren't images like these always reflections from inside the cockpit while taking pics? Good job keeping an eye out for anomalies but it just seems to me to be a regular occurrence and a jump to "alien ship" is a pretty big stretch.

No. I meant what I said. If the object is 'crystal clear' as you stated, I should have some difficulty seeing it.
What makes the blue object 'crystal clear'?

I can't really tell, the interior of ISS maybe. There is more of it to the left of the main satellite as well as ghosts of it all over the picture.

I'll admit it does look spaceship like, and i'm by no means an expert, but the blue/brown part is odd either way.

OK...i'm going with reflections from inside the ISS...the photos were taken from inside the ISS,
so the reflection is from some equipment inside reflecting on the inside surface of the window.

That's very weird, i'm typing the word window, yet it only shows up in the post as a ' _ ' ..ah well...you get the idea.

What made you decide it was something other than a reflection ? , I think your first reaction was likely correct.

And by the way, you were not too clear about what we should be looking at. The yellow wavy lines are more alien and out of place looking than the reflection of a human built spacecraft.

I like it when reflections start far away
and get closer with each pic..

Yea, its the interior. You can see the monitor hanging on the wall.

When did Hubble end up near the ISS?

What is this a reflection of..?

Do the interior lights of ISS give off thruster effects..?

scrutinised the picture a fair bit but cannot see any reflection of the camera or camera operator, given the size of the 'reflection' , ide imagine this should be, if its through the window.

funbox

The shuttle would when it fired them to move away from the Hubble, which is what the pictures were taken in.

Sadly, I have no life so didn't have to see the date. I recognized it immediately.

At least technically all the claims are true then, it is a space ship.
