With that headline I think I'm going with bad idea.

For this to fall in the conspiracy fourm there needs to be some type of motive behind behind building it.

This has to be a trap I mean come on a Christian cross in the heart of Karachi? I bet you the line for suicide vests is a mile long already. A move like this is tantamount to having A barbecue in a synagogue on Shabbat.

I thought about putting this in the prediction fourm because I'm pretty sure I'll be right. [sic] Honestly does anyone believe this won't be the target of a attack? It certainly sounds like a deliberate attempt to stir up some trouble.

This will for sure raise furry taliban eyebrows. If the millenia old Buddha statues were blown to oblivion - and they located pretty much in desert - a visible urban eyesore may tickle bombmakers even more...

Maybe it is a roboticized cross that shoots laser beams at perpetrators when it is under attack, way to kill a line of extremists.
