Any Presidential candidate make Corporations pay taxes? Thats right, some pay 0 dollars and 0 cents

I don't get why "we the people" don't get more riled up about this. They should at the very minimum pay income tax on income generated by sales here in the US. There is a spreadsheet link at the bottom of this link that will make you sick.

Does any Candidate support taxing these freeloaders?

I agree, what we want is a level playing field and an economic environment conducive to productivity, innovation and trade.

We should abolish all federal income taxes for everyone.

I couldnt agree more...and then a flat non increasing local and state tax to cover road maintenance, and emergency personnel etc...See how many career politicians there would be then...

I agree with that too...seems like they just print money anyway, so why the false tax system? A tax system can never be fair it seems so why even do it?

The thing that irks me is I know people who don't try hard to work and make a living. My wife and I do. We also never had kids. Some of these people I know get money back at tax time that they never paid in. Meaning they are getting welfare.

Worse, I know they are essentially taking my money that I worked hard for. Now I know sometimes people just have hard times and would otherwise work and work hard to make a living and I have no problem with paying taxes that help people who willingly would help themselves, but there is a large subset of people that wont and don't want to work that get my money.

How can we separate the lazy ones from the ones just needed some assistance cause I am not against assisting others in my country, I am against assisting lazy, leeches.

So an example: Single mom with education and could get a job decides to sit at home and ride the welfare train to raise her kid. Nope I don't want to help her. Single mom that wants a job, looks for work and just can't find any for awhile, yep I'll help her out.

Again it is not my job to support someone else but helping others get over bad times is something I think is everyone's job as a citizen.

Getting rid of income tax would at least make it fair to me in both cases. Print the money to aid both if you must but don't make me pay for the lazy.

No no no no. NO taxes. You do not need to tax to have money for roads and hospitals and such. The government just has to simply print it's own fiat currency and SPEND it on roads and hospitals and such.

Imagine especially in the US, that the bank bail-out money was instead spent on replacing rotting infrastructure... what did the banks do with the money? Sit on it.

Bernie Sanders is no friend of corporations.

Take a look at his donor list for campaign contributions. No Huge Corporations, no Wall Street. Running as a Dem to get media attention but was and still is an independent. But he would be one voice against the machine even if elected. The plutocracy we have today isnt going away. Sad but true.

I have a slightly different (or less total) take on the welfare state. While I despise what it does to its victims (both involuntary donors and recipients alike), it is up to the citizens in any state or town to decide how socialist and redistributive to become.

I oppose all federal (national) programs which are not related to defense (still want them reduced though) or other constitutionally allocated responsibilities.

The model of our federal union requires that the elements of governmental power and authority be constantly at odds with one another to maintain the balance of power. This was destroyed by providing direct funding from citizens circumventing the state's themselves and it isn't just wrong but, very dangerous.

Removing federal income tax will necessarily cause a dramatic increase in state income taxes to compensate. This will create the desirable circumstance where the states will be forced to compete with each other for productive citizens by offering the least confiscatory tax policy possible. Fiscal discretion will be shared across the breadth of the states of the union rather than be concentrated into one unaccountable institution, as was the original intention.

I think we all agree that while a "safety net" is always acceptable (though not necessarily provided by the state), institutionalized dependence does no one any good, least of all the recipient. Let each state and town try different solutions (including no solution) and let people vote with their feet.

Companies only pay taxes on profits, so if they don't make a profit in 2015 they will not pay taxes next April.

Corporations don't pay taxes. Shareholders and consumers pay the taxes. All these idiots arguing for higher taxes on corporations probably don't even realize they may be an indirect shareholder of said corporations through their pensions and other retirement investments. In other words, all they are doing by raising taxes on corporations is reducing the return on their own investments. Consumers bear the brunt of higher taxes through higher prices.

the reason "we the people" don't get more riled up about this is because people don't know about corporate welfare because the man, or woman, on the TV has not told them about it, so therefore they don't think about it and don't know it exists.

"we the people" have only been trained up to hate the person next door who gets the dole so that we will agree that the govt should take it off him.

We only care about the things we have been trained up to care about by the media.

Corporate welfare is an undiscusible topic in all countries.
