Whatever made it, definitely ate a 7-layer burrito from Taco Bell as you can tell by the scat-stratification.

I looked at a species index on the Ohio Department of Natural Resources website.
I didn't see bear or coyote listed.
The largest animals I saw were raccoons, badgers, and bobcats.
There is no way any of those critters dumped that mighty load.

Historically, black bears roamed the Buckeye State. Unfortunately, unregulated hunting and habitat loss rendered bears extirpated from Ohio by 1850. Today, Ohio is again home to a small but growing population of black bears. Ohio’s bear population is estimated to be anywhere from 50-100 individual bears.

Seems like they do have black bears.

Black bears do seem to get around.
I'm pretty sure I caught a glimpse of one in the swampy woods in coastal Texas.
I saw a black, hairy, upright torso in the thicket.
My first impression was "Bigfoot!" I speed-walked to my canoe and got out the area.

I've talked to the owner of the property behind me which is farm land as well as a large woods. The woods are leased to a hunting club, and they have trail cams everywhere. The owner has never seen scat like that, has never seen a bear and she has been here her whole life and has been all over the place on 4 wheelers.

She is sending the pics to the members of the club and seeing if they've seen anything or caught anything on the cams. I hope I hear something soon.

The hunters' verdict is raccoon poo and they have seen zero bears.

I've got a couple ears of corn outside the door- the motion light will come on if anything shows up and my dog will then make sure I get up.

Looks like it`s getting plenty of fiber.Black bear have more of a rabbit droppings look, bigger of course but many spherical dung balls piled up. This thing looks like a painful delivery was had, guaranteed to rip your behyman on the way out.
