Shades On

The future looks bright here.
I have lurked for some time and been a member of other conspiracy sites. A lot of the sites that I have traveled in my years online seem to have a lot more drama and "woo" than this site so I look forward to a fresh start here. In the past I like so many have fallen in to pitfalls of giving out too much personal information and trusting others too much too soon. I think the policies of this place favor more productive discussion than places I have left behind.
So what about me? I am a Science Acceptor. I believe the Scientific Method to be the most productive tool invented (or discovered) by Mankind. I enjoy when burden of proof is applied to testing the validity of any conspiracy theory or hypothesis. "What if's" do not impress me. There's no doubt that will get me labeled as having an agenda or being a "shill" by some but I've swam the waters of that for years and paper sharks do not impress me either. Without burden of proof Conspiracy Theory will always be entertainment. When conspiracies are validated with fact then it peaks my interest. As they say, "The truth is out there".
So here I am. I look forward to participating in the discussions in one of the more rational platforms available. I am interested in contributing to the various media formats the site and it's users offer.

So, do you bother to look for proof, or do you ignore such things until proof is shoved in your face?
