Going by your reasoning,you mean to tell me that dogs don't bite when afraid? I will totally disagree with that one. When I first started in
grooming we had a huge amount of dogs that were what we called 'fear biters'. They were mentally unstable dogs that under even the slightest stress
would turn and attack you. And those bites were bad from them,they were not playing around when they bit.
As far as a 'right' way to wag a tail, lol I am sorry but the dogs I have seen that wagged their tails looked totally friendly before they bit. If
you read the AKC standards,different breeds hold their tails in different positions. I would not get hung up about a tail to protect you. You will
get bit one day.
