Again...they are in many many places, with many hostages, innocents, roads, towns, cities...you can take out some, certainly not all, everywhere, even at the same time...without some serious collateral damage, destroying and killing innocents and leveling cities.

All the while...they'd keep on the move and crawling into holes dragging innocent victims with them.

In your mind....bombing seems to be a video game. Its not. Ask any soldier-vet ATS member. They'll explain it to you.

I see a lot of headlines in the newspapers about ISIS - none of them good.

And then I remember that in the First World War the propaganda was that Germans ate babies.

Nothing I see in the newspapers will induce me to hate anyone so much that I want to bomb them.

And screw those innocent people that get killed by those bombs, as long as we disrupt the bad guys as much as possible.

Last I checked not only are we already bombing them [ISIS], but something like 80% of all bombs being sent in their direction are from the United States. So we are also carrying the brunt of the workload.

It gets so frustrating sometimes doesn't it? I think myself at times after they've done something even more heinous than the last time, maybe we should go ahead and put IS out of it's misery. But then my better sense takes hold, and I realize it's not the best thing to do. We have to let the region take care of these monsters. Not only is it the best thing for now, but also for the future.

Maybe they will begin to want to protect the things and people they value, and not wait on someone else to do it for them. We can't let young westerners continue to die for their omissions.
