Weird synchronicities lately.
I was thinking Mon. evening late, about weird stuff...possible threads...along the lines of humans are monsters, kinda like God created a monster. We are God's Frankenstein. Just thinking and writing in my head, with my eyes closed...didn't tell anybody).
Next day hubby comes home with a movie he rented, "Victor Frankenstein".

Reading words while someone on the tv is saying them exactly...3 times in 3 days now.
*sigh*

Oh rubbish! I completely forgot. I am back in my PJ's.

I will put a reminder in my outlook, it is the only way I will remember to do.

And I hate the fact that makes me a little nerdy about work.

Oh wow, nerdy? I write on my own palm (of my hand) so I don't forget.

It doesn't always work out. One morning I wrote TP for toothpaste...and came home later with toilet paper.

My memory used to be fabulous...now I need a string tied on my finger. Or tied to my gloves, you know...the 'idiot string'?

I watched Dune last night after reading most of the series. It was okay. Anywho, that's one thing they say on there. There are giant sandworms that eat people and they're attracted by vibrations.

I've seen Dune! (Sssh, I'm actually a real sci-fi/fantasy geek fan...Spock rules, and all that!)

I think I like the "worms" better in 'Tremors', lol.

When I was reading the series I thought of Tremors. The worms on Tremors don't have a furnace burning inside them though.

I have never read Dune, I am trying to come across it in a charity shop. I have started reading Arthur C Clarke.

I really need to get back into reading, the winter blues are slowly lifting so I am starting to feel more productive in the evenings.

I think that movie might scare me too much. I might give it a go...I can always turn it off. I will ask my friend Scott how many Hippos it is.

Although I do enjoy a bit of Kevin Bacon on the side.

Dune (the first one) is actually one that I missed. I think there are about 3 or 4 that I've still got to read.

Quick laugh -
At the weekend, my bro-in-law was helping with my mum's shopping while my sis stayed for a visit with mum.
The shopping list had potatoes at the top.
My mum is quite old fashioned and likes to buy her potatoes as they left the field, covered in muck etc

She got quite a laugh when bro-in-law phoned to ask why she wanted him to get "Dirty Pots"!!!!!
(Mum had abbreviated her "mucky potatoes" down to "Dirty Pots"!!! so he thought she meant pots & pans that were used and dirty!!)
