Science still hasn't told me why sleep paralysis happens tho. And I've never even had it but the images reported to people having it are so similar even tho they are from another country. How can this be.

Science knows surprisingly little about how the brain works and interfaces with what we like to call reality. Is there some small gap in the quantum switches in your neurons that a non-corporeal "personality matrix" could sneak into and set up shop?

YAY!!! i was going to do a post about this.

many years ago you couldn't say the word Ouija and i'd be off. then a few years ago i watched an old friend use his as he'd been using it for 40 years and a very good teacher. cut a long story short a couple years back i bought one myself, i didn't use it until last week, i couldn't get it to work and i bribed my son to have a go with me, after a few minutes it started sliding and my son crapped himself and refused to do it ever again. i treated myself to a William Fuld one and i've desperately tried to get it to work and it hasn't.

anyone got any tips? im not into candles and all that.

and it really pisses me off when people call it a quija board.

There are a number of places on the Internet where you can get some very nice, handmade spirit boards if you really want to spend some serious money on it. Maybe they attract a higher class of entities.

Well you can't rush science. It'll happen when the evidence is available. Keep in mind that just because science doesn't know doesn't mean we should start making guesses.

If it didn't work then you are probably good to go. In fact, even if it had worked, that doesn't mean it was something evil.
Not everything out there is out to getcha.

Well, I wouldn't worry about it.

The only time you need to really worry is if a bunch of freaky stuff starts happening after.

I once talked to a miner named Jack who told me he was killed by his mule who kicked him.
(this was way back when I was a teenager)

Had no problems after, and I think most people don't, so I wouldn't worry about it and don't let people get you paranoid.
That is not to say you shouldn't be careful in the future, but sounds like a pretty mellow experience to me so far.

I know this will set off a lot of people but if you want it to work, try praying for the spirit presence you want to talk to to come through and give you a message. Believing the board will work is the first step to lowering your mental barriers. Try using three people on the planchet so you can combine your energies. If you know anyone that is sensitive to spirit presences, do the board with them. Make sure you use a prayer of protection when you start and request the presence. The science I'm speaking about is real science. Not science from fringe sources.

For one your study automatically assumes those rappings are a poltergeist. It also uses EVP's to confirm ghost activity. We don't even know what causes EVP's and paranormal researchers assume that they are ghosts. Your study is flawed.

I think you are wrong on that' Christians will strong beliefs cause them pain, they tend to prefer dark people as they are easier to enter.

Its a lower form of life, My cats trapped one in the living room and stalked it into the middle of the carpet, my wife and I were sitting in the room, at first we thought they were stalking each other as thy were at either sides, then it became clear that they could see something we could not, so I threw a cushion, and this seems to have made it go, the older cat just sat and cleaned herself, but the younger one was running round the settee and chair trying to find it, I assume that the older one has came across it before.

Do you ever think you see something out the corner of your eye about 2 feet high, dark etc, happens quite a lot here, or like us we have a polishe4d marble fire place and while looking at the fire have saw something in the reflection run past, my wife has saw a woman walk past the doorway whilst looking at the fireplace, i just ignore them, II go to sleep with this playing on my tablet or pc.

I am 55 and have not slept or been in the dark since I was 20,
