For sure. I know my rights but will be cautious this time and be a sheeple for a few minutes. My friend the plumber said walmart finally called them back and said "your services are not needed. We will be breaking contract." Why would they so that knowing they can get sued for breaking contract early? I thought they were trying to save money?

I'm sorry for comin' in late, and asking stupid questions, but;

Where is the connection to Walmart?

Major Military Exercise called JADE HELM 15 going down July 15. Some people wonder if the store closures are somehow related as to be used in the drill somehow because of the odd explanation by Walmart and the actions following the closures.

Basically the country is nervous because of the sad state we are in and this has set off bells no matter how silly it may seem to others.

On our way right now. Taking an actually camera in case they try to cover up stuff or delete any posted. Stuff is getting real and people arent seeing this. I may just be paranoid but better safe than sorry.

Please be careful out there.

It may be different in other states but here in Florida you do not need a permit to do plumbing repairs. If it is then I can tell you I never saw one pulled when I was doing plumbing.

In OC you may need one. The link below is for commercial plumbing.

www.orangecountyfl.net...

In Hillsborough County, where the Walmart in question is located...

A permit is required by any owner, authorized agent, or contractor who desires to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing system. If your property lies within the City of Tampa, City of Temple Terrace, or Plant City, please contact your respective Building Department.

Considering the building is located in the Tampa area, it would appear that they need one.

Hillsborough County permit information - Source

Something strange that I noticed, there is no plumbing permit for commercial projects located on the Tampa construction site, but there is one for residential.

Commercial Permits
Residential Permits

Plumbing and Gas permits can be obtained by a licensed plumbing contractor or authorized agent and/or a qualifying owner (must submit an Owner Permit Affidavit). For more information, please see the Plumbing and Gas Permit Requirements. Permit will be issued on the same day, and the Construction Permit must be completed. This permit can be obtained online by visiting Construction Permits Payments and Search.

Many of these stores are in right to work states, and frankly it would be cheaper to just pay their employees a few extra bucks in these specific stores then it would be to lose the property and profits as well as risking a larger public outcry.

Yes I am not sure what to think but read some of the stuff they have done to avoid unions here is a quick one to start.

Nah, a real prepper wouldn't reveal themselves in that way, would they? I'm thinking, if I were a prepper, I wouldn't go to the store and buy 50 candles and 50 bottles of aspirin and 50 cans of food at the same time. Maybe 5 candles and a bottle of aspirin and 10 extra cans each week. Way less suspicious looking. The way I figure it, most real preppers will be smart enough to already know that, right?

Easy enough to find and mark most, like off ATS.

So they load people in trucks and haul them off during jade helm and everyone thinks drill Lol!
www.thecommonsenseshow.com...

Jade Helm 15, a new Special Operations exercise that runs from July 15 to Sept. 15

There's something like 4 million preppers now. A person could be on the top or the bottom of the list (assuming people were really about to be rounded up). What gets you on the top of the list faster?

My guess would be buying guns, bullets, talking about guns bullets going to shooting ranges after already being tagged in various ways. Buying large quantities of anything everything seems so easy to track now.

Looks like ZH also has an interest. This is all over the internet and even mainstream news sites are scratching their head.

Perhaps, but with everything already happening with Walmart and workers rights this move strikes me as nailing the coffin closed and not protecting the businesses interests. There is no gain from a move done like this on a national level, one store at a time over a space of six months would have gone largely un-noticed and in summer would have just been accepted as fewer people will watch the news over the coming months.

However, what you said about the giant roaches does spark a few interesting questions.

Walmart has over 4000 stores, closing 5 suddenly wont help them in stopping unionization at all. Especially not now that there is a national case against the company.

All of these stores closing on the same day could imply the "roaches" scenario in some fashion. Perhaps a mutation?

Might I request you start your own thread with your results? I think it reach more ATSers that way, like "What I discovered when I went to the now closed location of Walmart in Texas" or something.

Agreed, this thread will probably keep moving on at a pretty brisk pace with other theories and might take a few different directions.

I would like to see your experience and data presented and discussed in a consolidated manner, midlandghost.

Please keep us informed.

Probably a post count issue.

Maybe if you contact one of the mods they might set something up for you or help you out since your doing some "onsite" reporting.

Here is the URL to the Other Current Events section. That's the same section as this thread is in:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

If you look on the right you'll see some buttons like Recent, Flags, Replies, etc. The very right most button is called NEW TOPIC and it's a big plus sign that you can click on. Clicking there will start a new thread in the Other Current Events section. Otherwise, go to any section you choose and click NEW TOPIC and it will start a thread in that section.

This would be a good first thread, especially if you provided pics! Thanks for your consideration.

Edit: Crap and you have to have 20 posts, you have 12. Just keep talking to us a minute before you drive out that way.

Once the poster has reached 20 posts, they will be able to author their own thread.

midlandghost, you could start an intro thread and post several replies to get your post count up, or continue posting here and in other threads until you reach at least 20 posts.

Here's what's been going on at the Pico Rivera Walmart:

www.theguardian.com...

[Nov. 2014] Authorities say 23 men and women were arrested Thursday after they blocked traffic at a Pico Rivera intersection during a protest that began with a sit-down strike inside the local Walmart.

A photo of this sit-in is the banner photo on the Facebook page of OUR Walmart, an employee organization.

It's against federal law to fire employees for lobbying for a union. So they shut down entire stores for months for "plumbing problems" putting everyone out of work and when they re-open the "sheeple" will presumably be more docile. They don't care, they have 4,000 stores.

The real conspiracy here is how the largest employer in the country treats its employees.

Instead, people are talking Alex Jones nonsense about FEMA detention camps and military exercises.

Don't know if it had something to do with my phone but it won't let me post the pictures I have of the Walmart shut down last night. All windows are blocked and caution tape was put up. Now they have that entire area blocked off by police. They are redirecting traffic. Can't even get close to it.

Like I said it could be different from where I was for permits. The only time we pulled permits was for new construction, but that was never a big deal. We generally pulled them a day or two before we needed them it was a quick in and out process at the time. I would think they will have the contractors pull them rather than Walmart doing it because that is part of a contractors job and records who is liable for the work.
