Remotely Creating Local Admin On Multiple Machines?

I need to create a local admin and password on about 32 machines. I was going to do this through Group Policy but the new Server 2008 patch does not allow me to create a user password.

I'm not familiar with psexec but I have been told you can use it to do this.

Anyone have other ideas?

I have been using group policy on 2008 and it's been OK so far (Win7 clients).

What patch is the problem?

thinking on it. why would you create a local admin on domain computers.

Just assign a user to the domain administrator group so they have admin rights on the systems.

Then log in as the user.

The computers are on a lab cart for use in a media classroom. The department requires that they have a local admin account that they specified. Apparently Microsoft made a patch for 2008 that will not allow you to create a user and password through GP because of a security flaw (probably clear text). In the GP dialog box, it will allow you to enter a user name but the password section is grayed out.
