What does manners have to do anything with thousands of guys lining up and shooting at eachother while there commanders watch and comment on how the battle is going, then latter celebrate give themselfs meddles and hire some guy to write about it in the history books? The only ones with manners were those not getting shot at, you know the ones who latter wrote about it.
Chivalry is just something people do who never have to be in the thick of it. It never really existed but in books and stories, people may practice whatever they think, but that does not mean nothing, just like believe in something means nothing and wont change the nature of that something.

8.Thou shalt never lie, and shalt remain faithful to thy pledged word (Never lie or go back on one's word).
9.Thou shalt be generous, and give largesse to everyone (Be generous to everyone).
10.Thou shalt be everywhere and always the champion of the Right and the Good against Injustice and Evil (Always and everywhere be right and good against evil and injustice)
