Something has been bugging me and sorry if it's already been posted....

I wonder how many traffic tickets are written in the immediate area of the auto parts store? Are LEOs in North Charleston lining their coffers by writing chump tickets for poor folk trying to fix their own broken cars?

Also, I don't think this officer should be charged with murder. Scott ran, there was a struggle, I'm sure adrenaline played a part so manslaughter? But for sure some sort of conspiracy charge or obstruction of justice for moving the taser and for writing the BS report...for both officers.

I agree completely!!

Changed in edit:

I lied no I don't!!!

The fact the cop thru the tazer at the guys feet leads me to believe it was premeditated murder.

Tho I agree in a normal situation where the cop chooses wrong it should be manslaughter.

Looks like the car had no tail lights. Whats strange is how was the cop able to catch up with the guy? Why would the guy run if the cop had his info? What happened in the interim where the video stops? Witnesses say a "tussle" occurred.

Prob because he was a quirky old F^€Ker.... Not real bright but not real dangerous... No one who runs like that can ever be considered dangerous... :p

I said this earlier how many pgs back that the defense of the Killer cop, would start-up on how he was guilty of something for running thus somehow deserving of DEATH! and killer cop should somehow not be found guilty .. perhaps ya'll think I was playing.

Yeah...the guy had a good jump on him though and he did look slow getting out of the car...but still. As an aside, see the officer "tag" the rear tail light?

For those that havent been thru law enforcement training, 'police academy' varies greatly from state to state. Some require a minimum of 2 year degree in criminal justice and a ' police academy' to a 3 month vo-tech
course. So training, for most is ojt....with some ot classes.
I dont know what type of training the officer in question had but, by his actions it was obviously very poor.

How many of the officers involvedin these sensless acts ate on some type of ptescription drug? Thats always a question asked of the 'mass shooters', why mot ask that question in these police shootings?

Just simple common sense. Where was he going? You leave your car there, you info with the po po?

Surely would have better luck just to sit there. Does it take a special team just for these instances?

IDK, i pull over and put my hands out the window and...idk, this guy would have been in and out to commit more crimes in no time.

I don't think anyone will argue what he did was stupid, it does not in any way place the blame on him for getting shot.

...and the passenger just sits there...like he dont know the guy? Maybe a special team of "helpers" needs to be called on site but...IDK, a child should know these things.

Is your point that if he didn't run he would be alive today?

Idc what the passenger did, I care about how the officer acted in response to this man running.

The moon.

Does it really matter?

I agree it was stupid, death is not the punishment for stupid.

The point is why would he run?

He has been identified, a vehicle is there and it is tied to him, a passenger who has to know him sits there the whole time. It is hard to believe.

Cause he knew the warrant was out for him.

For the third time, no one is denying it was dumb to run for that reason.

To get shot in response is pathetic.

And for the cop to then try and plant the tazer is just despicable.

Ya, that is going above and beyond.

Without out the video, no one would even question it either.

He was running towards a fence, where there was another cop waiting to catch him. Which makes shooting him even more inexplicable.

The cop thru the tazer at the guys feet before the shooting......

You do have to be joking right?

There are really people here, who say, a running guy can be be shot? Or is it just a black guy running?
You Muricans always confuse me with that way of thinking.

All I see is plain murder and this time I am sure they will say the same at court.
