I was looking at a list of demodded T1s and just in the first part there were at least five in the US.

If its works and can do the job? Why not?

Big price tags dont always been better for the job.

While I was looking at radar24, I saw a Mk59 Hunter in the same area and a Tudor going from NAS Whitting to Ft. Benning. Hey, I'm turning into a RIO...LOL!

Are any of the T-1s on the east coast?

When air superiority isn't really the issue the A-29 is a very capable COIN and CAS platform. I would not sell the Super Tuc short. That said I don't know how it stacks to a T-6.

I was watching a video, while back, comparing the two. It appears the Tucano is a larger sturdier airfame. The T6 is a trainer so it has to be a rugged bird to be used daily by some ham-handed student pilot.
