Liberals and conservatives are the dumbest creatures in the US.

I believe this to be self evident to any free thinking human being.
They continually vote for the same dirt bag politicians over and over thinking maybe this time it'll be different.

Pro tip: it never will be different.

So I've come to the conclusion that if the rest of us rational Americans want to continue to have a nation to call our own we are going to have to exterminate all the liberals and conservatives. Much like a case of genital lice.

Now, I am hoping that the death count will be much lower than we might think. I believe most of this noise they make is from a minority group of shills and idiots and the rest are more middle ground reasonable specimens who can be spared.

So who's with me?

The system isn't broken, it was made that way. And if you're one of the 99 percent then tough luck because it's the 1 percent that count, sorry.

hehe well the humor of your sentiment doesn't escape me, but I'm not much for genocide. I still cannot believe that people are enraptured by either "side" as the definitive truth, but reading posts, listening to radio and the occasional news I watch when traveling certainly makes me wonder if anyone is capable of thinking for themselves any more...or for that matter getting their information from any other source than the internet.

Liberals pull on the heart strings. Conservatives hope your too stupid to change the channel. One lasts one doesn't..

You've got one side who's creating social programs they can rob and steal from.

Then you've got the other taking kick backs to keep wages low and creating defence programs they can rob and steal from.



I also don't really think the extremes of the right and left really exist... They are fictional characters created to scare the other side. Sure you can find plenty of conservatives spouting garbage, but almost none would actually hurt anyone.


So I don't think the conservative side can last. It's solely based off the assumption there viewers won't trust the "real world". Which can't possibly last. As information is more and more readily available, it will get harder and harder to lie. Espeacially for your major public figures .

If politicians are getting elected again and again, it's because they got the MAJORITY of the votes. So, your problem is not with a small group of people, but the majority of people.

I think its because of your thinking and those that think like you, I don't care if they think this about Liberals,or Republicans,or whatever,makes no difference that change can not happen. You keep trying to divide people instead of them trying to stand together,then wonder why things don't work. Remember the motto:United we stand,divided we fall.

As it is now,and I won't bored everyone with the same argument that we have discussed in other threads,but the fact is,that it is all the same coin.They give the ILLUSION of being on a different sides,but as we can see from what they are doing,it is all the same song and dance. Voting is not the answer now.They will vote down any law they want no matter how much the people want change. The thing to do is to make our own laws. This is not hard to do. We can rein in our congress and senate,we can strip some powers away from the president,we can throw term limits on them,we can stop all funding by super pacs,pacs,and lobbyists. We can fund those we want through taxpayer money instead,and hold a fire to their feet to perform as we want.But we are going to have to get together to do it.

Lol! Good post. I mean have some compassion and don't genocide me: I've gotten sucked into partisan politics too, but man it annoys me, especially when its hateful, especially when its on a site that's about looking deeper.

I was watching the good cop/bad cop game being played with Iran, with Israel and the Republicans playing Iran's bad cop and Obama and International partners playing the good cop. It was a masterfully played two part harmony, with the ultimate target being Russia's influence in the middle east. If you pay attention to what actually happens you can see the same collaboration all through the political elite right and left, a dialectic to get things done. With some things, like banker bailout, they collaborate directly against the will of both the non-elite right and left. They do so while having vast influence and making mountains of money.

But then I see these people who are getting no money, letting their minds be consumed in toxic hate to just to play a role in this dialectic that doesn't even benefit them. I mean if you ENJOY conservative or liberal ideals, good for you, but most of the time I see people in states of fear and loathing, parroting talking points about the other side with almost no basis in reality. The partisan narrative doesn't empower people, to think outside the box like the elites do, it makes them slaves to other people's thinking, always waiting for salvation to come from an elected official who can never actually deliver on the promised changes to our lives even if he wanted to. The real power for change lies within us.

I don't know when the term "Liberal" came to mean someone on the far left, probably since about 2008 and the rise of the TEA Party.

That being said, I often try and have conversations with people on the far fringes of politics (Far Left AND Far Right).

Trying to reason with anyone on the far reaches of either side is impossible, and an exercise in futility.

I have a very good friend who is very far off to the left, massively pro union and an atheist. I myself am an atheist. However, he's so far off in the fringes of his political belief system that trying to convince him that anything other than pure Socialism is a good idea is an impossible task.

I have another very good friend who is extremely spiritual, and very right wing in his thinking. He thinks everyone should work for a living, no welfare state, no safety nets, no Government assistance, no unions, Church on Sunday, tithe 10%, own at least three guns (and that's here in Canada). Massively bigoted (we are good friends, but disagree on many issues) and quite racist. Trying to convince him on the ridiculousness of his positions is equally futile.

The biggest reason Americans on the far left and far right will never end up having a proper discussion is that those on the far right generally have an absolute belief in faith, while ignoring the mountains of evidence to the contrary, and the people on the left generally have an absolute belief in science, and can't accept that there might be alternative solutions other than the completely logical.

Not at all just think the Fox News types are obviously playing to a dumber crowed. It's all "they won't tell you this in the MSM!" When every station talks about all the same stories... All the fake war on Christians, war on Christmas type stuff. They point to one worse case senerio and pretend like it's the average person on welfare. If your political solution to a problem, any problem is "lets kill whoever thinks different" you don't have a working solution.

To elaborate

Those conservatives you want to eliminate? They also think, if we could just get rid of the non conservatives things would be better.

The liberals? If we could just get rid of the liberals things would be better.

The moderates? If we could just get rid of the left/right fringes things would be better.

All three are saying the exact same thing. You haven't come up with anything here, it's just business as usual.

Primary voting is a tough one for me. I don't identify as Democrat or Republican, technically I'm registered Republican right now because there's someone I wanted to vote for in the past but this voting cycle there's no one. I want to register third party, and I want to try and get one of them elected to a local office. Doing so however means I give up my primary vote for the presidential election (I'm in Ohio in a highly divisive area so it's sought after). I understand why a Pirate Party member shouldn't be voting in a Democrat primary but it doesn't mean that I might not want to. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Rudy Giuliani, Chris Christie, I would vote for any of those four in a primary. It's not as simple as just picking a party and going with it.

On top of that, for those of us that live here and aren't loyal to a party, we're all too aware that it's essentially just our votes that matter. Which really makes it feel like it should goto someone who can win rather than someone who should win.
