This is the next thread in a series of threads from my book, Fever Rising, that I'm publishing free here at ATS. This is chapter 22 and it deals with the threat of poisonous gases methane and hydrogen sulfide to humans. A Closer Look at the Louisiana Bayou Corne Sinkhole

Chapter 22: The Humans Are Dying

The amount of unexplained human deaths is alarming at best. Disturbing is probably a better word. The general public is far from aware of these deaths as they don’t get much attention and the ones that do usually get some lame excuse from officials about the cause of death. Most often, they may be stumped but they rarely let on to you, the concerned public. They’ve even come up with a new phrase to explain these mysterious deaths…Sudden Adult Deaths Syndrome. Are you kidding me?

There’s only one true place to follow these incidents and that’s at the Jumping Jack Flash website. Once again, Jonny Mnemonic does a phenomenal job of tracking these events. There are so many of these deaths, a dozen of them on his site every day, that can’t be explained by the traditional circumstance. Jonny does a great job of explaining how the next most logical reasoning can be gas poisoning. Hydrogen sulfide only remains in the human body up to eight hours so when an autopsy is done, it wouldn’t be discovered in most cases anyways, and let’s be honest, how often is a coroner going to look for hydrogen sulfide.

The skeptic’s best argument right now is that these deaths have always transpired and that we’re just getting better news reporting, or that we’re looking for it. I can’t argue with this point because there is some merit to it. Sure, I’ve never paid attention until now, but what Jonny has going for him is that he’s been tracking it now since February of 2012 and over that two years he testifies that the numbers are increasing at a rapid and alarming pace.

For example, let’s look at the date of February 7, 2014 on his site. On this date there were three persons in different areas along the coast of California who dropped dead of unexplainable causes. A man was found dead and a woman unconscious in their apartment in Oceanside, while in another case a woman in her 50’s dropped dead on a sidewalk shortly after 7 am in Harbor City, and yet another one was found dead in Koshland Park in San Francisco along the coast. Three cases in one day and authorities report nothing suspicious about it. Alarming, yes, but not suspicious. That’s because they don’t know what they are looking for, but this is becoming all too common.

On his site, Jonny says that California, Texas and Florida are the three most populated states in the U.S. They are the states suffering the highest rates of these strange deaths and most of them are along the coasts where the most instances of floating plumes of methane and hydrogen sulfide gas would be evident. This is just more proof in the pudding basically when you consider that methane hydrates are melting at rapidly increasing rates in the depths of the oceans.

People aren’t just dying alone as they walk outside near the coast. These deaths are happening in pairs as well and they are also happening in land, far from the coast, albeit, not as often but happening nonetheless. Here is a look at a case of an otherwise young and healthy man who was found dead foaming at the mouth.

From Naztoday.com, Feb. 4, 2014
NAZ Today reports on a dead body found on the east side of Flagstaff yesterday. The body was identified as 34-year-old Jason Yaze. Yaze was found unresponsive and foaming at the mouth in a drainage tunnel under Route 66. He was later pronounced dead at the Flagstaff Medical Center. There currently are no suspicions of foul play. Flagstaff Police Department's Cory Runge says there are people who say they saw Yaze alert and conscious an hour before he was found.

Here is what Jonny posted on his site about this report.

Jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com
By Jonny Mnemonic
So in that last hour of his life, he probably got a whiff of hydrogen sulfide blowing by, while walking near that drainage tunnel (which is where a heavier-than-air gas like hydrogen sulfide would tend to accumulate). Then he may have gone blind, wavered in and out of consciousness, and tried to crawl to safety, then laid there in that drainage tunnel, unconscious and foaming at the mouth, until dead. Clearly events involving people dying while foaming at the mouth are now on the rise, as expected. A family of five was found dead at home, foaming at the mouth, in coastal Karachi (Pakistan), as mentioned in the 2013-12-09 update. Two men died foaming at the mouth in their car in Asaba (Nigeria), as mentioned in the 2013-12-12 update. A couple, 23 and 19, were found dead in bed at home in Searcy (Arkansas), one of them foaming at the mouth, as mentioned in the 2012-08-27 update. Three students collapsed unconscious and foamed at the mouth outside Riverside High School in El Paso (Texas), as mentioned in the 2013-06-04 update, just downwind of the Rio Grande. A man was found dead foaming at the mouth in a building in coastal Spanish Town on the island of Jamaica, as mentioned in the 2013-12-17 update. And so on. I could go on for a scarily long while ere without even mentioning all the people found dead bleeding from their mouths, ears and/or noses...

This is horrendous stuff and its for real. You don’t have to take my word for it, just check out the site jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com and see for yourselves. Jonny isn’t making any of this up either. He links back to news sources for every report that he tracks on the site. There is always evidence of these vehicle fires, sudden deaths, poisonings, explosions, boats and RV fires, plane crashes, etc.

Sudden gas poisoning is causation for one manner of increasing human deaths, but, there are other ways as well such as the explosions and fires.

Chautauqua Today
By Dave Rawley, Feb. 2, 2014
A South County plow truck driver lost his life when his vehicle caught fire as he was completing a job on West Lake Road in the town of Busti early Thursday morning. Lakewood-Busti Police Chief John Bentley says police and Lakewood firefighters were called to the scene at Snug Harbor Marine Showroom about 4 AM. He is releasing few details, but says the 26 year-old man was found dead in the driver's seat. The body has been sent to the Erie County Medical Center for identification... and to determine the cause of death.

Here’s what Jonny posted on his site about this report.

Jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com
By Jonny Mnemonic
Busti is located on the shore of Chautauqua Lake and this road runs right along the lake. From the full hypothesis: "Vehicles of all kinds will continue to burn, as they have been, and the number of vehicular fires will continue to escalate, inevitably resulting in a corresponding increase in the number of people being incinerated in their vehicles."

This next story is a very interesting case of a vehicle fire and what appears to be a poisoning of the driver at the same time and note how this incident was on the Atlantic Coast.

Hilton Head car fire kills driver on Cross Island Parkway
Islandpacket.com
By Allison Stice, Dec. 19, 2012
A moving car caught fire on the Cross Island Parkway shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday, killing a driver who has yet to be identified.

The S.C. Highway Patrol said the 2012 Volkswagen engulfed by flames might have struck debris that punctured the gas tank.
Troopers are struggling to understand why the car, which also had a flat tire, continued to travel, spokeswoman Senior Trooper Bridget Wyant said.

Witnesses said the car rolled through the toll booth on the Cross Island Parkway heading west as other motorists tried to alert the driver that the back of the car had caught fire, Wyant said.

The driver U-turned, drove back through the toll booth heading east and continued for three-quarters of a mile before the car came to a stop at the intersection of Point Comfort Road and Palmetto Bay Road.

A person attempted to get the driver out of the car, but the vehicle became too hot, Wyant said. When firefighters with the Town of Hilton Head Fire & Rescue Division arrived at 6:48 a.m., the car was ablaze.

Wyant said the fire damage to the vehicle was so severe investigators could not determine if the driver was trapped or if the driver was wearing a seat belt.

These kinds of reports have crazy written all over them. I personally don't believe that this kind of stuff just happens. Troopers say they think road debris punctured his gas tank. I mean, really? Furthermore, according to details the driver seemed kind of creepily out of it. He just kept driving while the back of his car was on fire and people were trying to stop him. This whole situation fits with the neurological poisoning affect and additionally, he had a flat tire but continued driving. Jonny cites many times the hydrogen sulfide reactions with rubber causing a lot of flat tires. What I believe happened is that the driver went through a powerful plume causing a reaction in the rear of the car igniting the fire and blow out of the tire, which caused the driver himself to become poisoned at an extremely high level, near death, where his brain became incapacitated regardless.

Here is another frighteningly similar case where the victim of the fire may have already been poisoned by hydrogen sulfide.

Las Vegas Review-Journal
By Kristi Jourdan, Nov. 24, 2012
Bernard Drake walked out of his apartment Saturday afternoon and spotted smoke coming from his neighbor's place.
Then he heard the fire alarm.

Drake opened the door to see his friend, Eric Olsen, 55, on fire, his hand clutching a burning cigarette.

"His hair was on fire," Drake said about two hours after the blaze was extinguished. "I couldn't get his fire extinguisher to work, so I had to get mine. I saw him on fire. His TV was on. He wasn't yelling. He wasn't doing nothing. He was rocking a little bit in his chair, holding a cigarette."

Drake said Olsen died.

"He didn't deserve to go like that," Drake said, wiping away tears.

It was the third two-alarm fire in the complex in the past six months, he said. The category of fire indicates the level of response by authorities, with a higher number of alarms meaning more resources are committed.

Here’s what Jonny had to say about this case.

Was he ALIVE? Sitting in his chair, rocking, while he burned to death? I guess he could have been. The rocking might have been involuntary reflexes in his legs as the fire consumed him. Craaaazy.

There are a lot of reports of mass sicknesses and whole towns smelling the gas. This is happening quite frequently and we’ve been very lucky that there hasn’t been a mass death from a gas smell yet, at least here in the United States anyways. There may have been mass deaths elsewhere. Here is a story out of Vietnam about 15 unidentified bodies found floating in a river.

15 unidentified bodies found floating in Ezu River in Anambra State
Bellanaija.com
By Adeola Adeyemo, Jan. 20, 2013
The people of Amansea community in Anambra state woke up to a gory sight on Saturday morning to find about 15 bodies floating on Ezu, a river at the boundary between Anambra and Enugu states.

The decomposing bodies, all male, were without any noticeable body mutilations or injuries and could not be identified by the people of Amansea community who live in the area on Anambra state side of the divide. They added that no member of the community had also been reported missing.

The bodies were discovered in the early hours of the morning when they went to fetch water.

According to Channels TV, the river is the only source of water for the five communities of Amansea, Ebenebe, Ugbenu, Ugbene and Oba-Ofemili and the development had caused a lot of discomfort to the people.

The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Musa Daura, maintained that Enugu and Anambra enjoy relative peace and so could not decipher where the corpses were coming from. He wondered how the avalanche of dead bodies got there because he had not heard of any communal clash whether in Enugu or Anambra where many people were killed.

The villagers were advised not to fetch water from the river until the bodies are cleared and buried.

This is really shocking and we hope the police are able to unravel the mystery behind this case.

Here’s what Jonny had to say about this case.

Jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com
By Jonny Mnemonic
That may be the first major public sign of an entire village or town being wiped out by hydrogen sulfide, from upstream of the town where the corpses were found. When vehicles started bursting into flame in Vietnam, it was about 3 months later that the same thing started happening in the U.S. So this problem is so big that the difference in protective power between Vietnam and the most powerful nation on Earth was only 3 months. We might start seeing entire towns dropping dead before too long here too.

After first reading this story I began thinking maybe some sort of warring factions between tribes or villages or something, but then you read about how there is no feuding between the villages. They were also all males which leaned toward a slaughter between feuding factions, but then there are no signs of injury. One would assume these men would struggle not willingly drowning themselves in the river. Also baffling is that the two villages by where the bodies were found said so far there are no missing residents. Sure would have liked to hear the final report after the investigation but that’s what tends to happen in so many of these cases. They just silently fade away. The gas theory certainly fits but it's a strange case indeed.
Jonny said that as he started tracking the vehicle fires, most cases began in Vietnam and three months later they started here in the states. There have been many of these wide spread poisonings in the United States in the past year, and thank God there have been no mass casualties yet.

Here is a recent case you can find at this link. Note how it started off saying there was a carbon monoxide leak but at the end of the story school officials said no carbon monoxide was detected in the school. There was a similar story like this one I discussed earlier that happened in a Minnesota school in Paynesville. Same situation, originally blamed on CO2 but then none was detected. They still stuck with their original story though and officially, that’s the cause.

hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/site/?pageid=event_desc&edis_id=HZ-20140207-42603-USA
A suspected carbon monoxide leak has forced an evacuation at a southern Minnesota school and sent nearly 30 people to the hospital. Police were called to Springfield Public School just after 9:30 a.m. Thursday after a couple of students reportedly fell ill in the school auditorium while rehearsing for a school play, with two kids passing out and others vomiting. The entire school was evacuated. By midday, 30 children, fourth and fifth graders at the school, were taken to the Mayo Clinic Health Center in Springfield. Some underwent an oxygen treatment, according to a health official. Students and staff were taken to the Springfield Community Center, where students were to be picked up by parents. The Springfield Fire Department and a crew from CenterPoint Energy were checking the building to make sure all students were out, and to find the source of the leak. According to the school's superintendent, officials did not find carbon monoxide. According to a health official at Mayo, the symptoms were very consistent with carbon monoxide poisoning. Fingers probes on students showed higher CO levels.

And at the same time this story was breaking, rsoe.hu came out with another report of an evacuation due to sudden mass illness. Here’s the link.

hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/site/?pageid=event_desc&edis_id=HZ-20140206-42599-USA
Firefighters have been called to the Rock Island Arsenal. Arsenal spokesperson, Eric Cramer says three buildings were evacuated this morning. He says around 20 were reported ill due to air contamination from an undetermined source. Officials with the Rock Island Arsenal Emergency Services say the contamination issue may have occurred when a diesel vehicle was parked near a ventilation system. Arsenal officials called in assistance with the Mutual Alarm Box Aid System and from Quad Cities area emergency services. Cramer says those who were reported ill were taken to multiple area hospitals. Unity Point Health tells us there are expecting eight patients at their Trinity Rock Island campus. Unaffected persons were evacuated to safe areas on the installation.

Here’s what Jonny had to say about this one.

Dangerous Gas may be the cause of super-charged, mass die-offs, quakes and more

Obviously, they're grasping at straws for an explanation. I have seen the vehicle exhaust excuse before, but it usually doesn't make sense. Vehicle exhaust is carbon monoxide, which doesn't have much of an odor, but more importantly, it's a lighter-than-air gas, so once it leaves the exhaust it heads up into the sky. If it was a truck parked right UNDER an overhanging air intake system, that might cause problems, but nobody designs air intake systems that way. When 22 Houston students suddenly collapsed unconscious at an outdoor stadium in late 2011, with a 'strange odor' mentioned, they tried to blame the buses in the parking lot. Again, that's idiotic. Carbon monoxide might accumulate at the CEILING of the stadium, if any got inside, but it was an OUTDOOR stadium, so there was no ceiling except for the sky itself. A HEAVIER-than-air gas would settle into the bottom of the stadium though, and that's where the kids were who collapsed unconscious...

And then, here is another case of a smell reported throughout a wide area.

Mysterious smell reported in area by Sheriff’s office
Murray Ledger, Jan. 31, 2014
By Austin Ramsey
Authorities in multiple counties in western Kentucky and northwestern Tennessee reported a mysterious gas-like odor Thursday morning, but the source of the stench is still unknown. Calloway County dispatcher Dan Galloway said the Sheriff’s Office received anywhere between 15 to 20 calls of a natural gas smell.

The first call came from the Almo area at about 6:30 a.m. Galloway said Calloway County Fire-Rescue units responded to a residential area to find nothing. Minutes later, firefighters were called to the Dexter area for the same call. By later in the morning, Galloway said reports were coming in from most of the county as well as Marshall, Graves and Ballard counties in Kentucky and Henry and Stewart counties in Tennessee.

“We’ve talked to sheriffs’ offices south of us and they have all reported the smell.”

The municipal service, Murray Natural Gas, reported no leaks within the county. They have over 215 miles of pipeline in the area and served over 7,000 residents. Any leak that would be smelt over that wide of an area would have to be pretty significant.

Later in the morning of this report, the sheriff’s department said calls continued to come in, so they turned their attentions to the weather. The sheriff thought that maybe something was thawing or rotting in a nearby river, but as the area of the smell spread out over so many miles, that idea was dismissed.

Out of ideas, the officials blamed a container board mill near Memphis that was 120 miles away. The company said they never heard of any of their smells traveling that far no matter how strong the wind.

Eventually, the sheriff said no one knew what the smell was and he doubted anyone would ever know.

This is an extensive area with mysterious smells that no one could identify. This particular smell was reported across five counties in Kentucky and Tennessee. These have been happening more and more. When you can smell it though, it’s still safe and not going to kill. When the gas rises above the smell stage, then people will begin dying and when it happens in this large of an area it’s going to be a major catastrophe. At that point, the media will have to pay attention and the excuses will run thin. The mass public will start to be more aware but whether it will dawn on them that this gas poisoning is happening remains to be seen because there have been plenty of incidents as evidenced throughout this book, and yet it’s all quiet on the gaseous front. Here is another mass poisoning from strange fumes that happened in Kingston, Jamaica.

50 people sickened from mystery fumes
Jamaica Observer, March 1, 2013
By Kimmo Matthews
The island's environmental management agency was last night still trying to determine the source of noxious fumes that resulted in more than 50 persons, some of whom collapsed, being rushed to hospital in Kingston.

The mystery fumes also caused discomfort to many more persons in the vicinity of the Central Sorting Office (CSO) on South Camp Road, plunging the area into chaos for a few hours.

Several businesses in the area were forced to close, classes were suspended at nearby schools, and persons were evacuated from the CSO building as the police restricted traffic movement from East Queen Street to South Camp Road in an effort to protect people from potential harm.

"The report that we received is that at about 10:00 am workers (from the CSO) raised an alarm after several of their colleagues started to complain that they were having difficulty breathing," Post Master General Michael Gentles said as police tried to restore calm and provide quick help for affected individuals.

That, however, did not prevent people from panicking as CSO workers and curious onlookers began to collapse.

"Jesus Christ, what is happening? Somebody tell us what is going on, nuh!" screamed one woman as her colleague fainted.

"I have spoken to the post master general and I have spoken to my team on the ground but they have not been able to ascertain the source of the fumes," said Peter Knight, chief executive officer of NEPA.

This was the second time there was a mass panic caused by the smell and people becoming sick. It happened in another district in Jamaica in June of 2012 where five people were sickened and many were evacuated.

On the Jumping Jack Flash website, Jonny has a frequently asked questions section where people may ask him about the hypothesis and he answers them in a timely fashion. Here was one question that had to do with people dying from the gases.

Jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com
Post made by a visitor
Your hypothesis is interesting! Yet what proof is there that any of the incidents you cite on a daily are as result of hydrogen sulfide? Do tests exist that can be performed, to determine if cause was gas exposure? Do you follow up any of these with coroner's offices, for example? Do you have any kind of baseline data to compare incident numbers to? Car accidents and fires have been taking place for a long time. While any of the incidents you cite could potentially reflect confirmation of your hypothesis, none of them are clearly caused, which casts doubt. I appreciate your response, thank you.

Jumpingjackflashhypothesis.blogspot.com
By Jonny Mnemonic
You may never have anyone come out and tell you. You will have to look and make determinations yourself, or not.

Yet there are many clues.

For one, huge explosions in the skies around the world, often accompanied by a 'flash of light', sometimes damaging homes. Explosions like that indicates a chemical reaction, which means...chemicals. What chemicals, and why are they in the atmosphere around the planet NOW, just as the waters are heating up? Well, in Earth's history, hotter waters leads to hydrogen sulfide and methane eruptions. Nothing else really explains those gigantic atmospheric explosions.

Secondly, for the first time in human history, a major metropolitan city was told to shelter-in-place because of hydrogen sulfide (Kuwait City).

Thirdly, there have been many incidents where 'piles of scrap iron' have burst into flame, on cargo ships, in junkyards, etc. Only hydrogen sulfide emissions would explain that. Even methane wouldn't explain THAT.

Fourth, hydrogen sulfide was detected in the air in Southern California, and in the ground in Canada, and in a library in Ohio (infiltrated the library via contaminated outside water).

Fifth, there have been a number of inexplicable events that involve sudden-onset neurological afflictions, like the face-eater incident, the children experiencing 'Tourette's-like' twitching after playing basketball OUTSIDE, younger people in Australia experiencing Parkinson's-LIKE twitching and jerking, 'nodding disease' in Uganda and more. Hydrogen sulfide is neurotoxic and if the oceans are emitting it (which they are), then you'd expect to see that sort of effect spreading through human population, and we are.

Sixth, there have been many sudden-unconsciousness events: 22 Houston students dropped to the ground, strange smell mentioned, outside. 120 Cambodian students suddenly lost consciousness, outside. 60-ish people in Jamaica smelled something foul and many suddenly lost consciousness, outside. 500+ runners mysteriously sickened in the Las Vegas marathon, outside, water and food eliminated as cause, which leaves...the air.

Seventh, hydrogen sulfide doesn't remain in the body long. After 6-8 hours - from exposure - you aren't going to detect it. Most bodies aren't even found that soon and those that are rarely autopsied that quickly, and for those very few that are, the docs still aren't gonna be looking for it. They may see a brain hemorrhage or a heart attack and...good enough for them.

There are lots of clues if you keep your eyes open. These I've listed are by no means the only clues. And any one thing could be a fluke (except the combusting rusted iron, no other explanation for that). Taken all together? Well, I find it convincing. Whether you do or don't is up to you, of course. Reality is all that matters though, and we're gonna see what we're gonna see.

Good point. Most is about large groups falling unconscious, but there have been some deaths as well. It also points out what may be coming when the doses of H2S increase. I guess I should have called it "The Humans are Falling Unconscious"

The great thing about it is, you'll absorb so much more if you read it all, but each chapter actually stands on its own, as long as you read the first five chapters to understand the increase in methane levels and the why? Then you can see the tie in to other events.

That is exactly why I'm giving this book away for free, and here at ATS, because I want people to pay attention and I think here is the best place to find those who will. Heck, it''s how I stumbled on it all in the first place, by paying attention. Thanks for your comments MISwampBuck.
