I'm not sure if I've tried Mass Effect yet - It does have an FPS element ( it looks like? ) Which is deterring compared to RPG choose your weapon and level up with it style - But I did very much enjoy Metroid ( snes ) and Metroid Prime - So space-faring rpg shooter game could be attractive.

It's not FPS (which is why I recommended it) but it does have some 3rd-person shooter elements to it. It's a huge space opera with tons of RPG, action, building stats, a bit of resource management, tons of exploration, etc.

I still remember jet set willy and that was my favourite growing up but then I am old enough to remember pong.
Hmm that depends what you want, racing, strategy, puzzle, action or role playing, I agree over Morrowind and it had far more atmosphere plus the character looked like star wars action figures complete with jointed limb's.

Wait for fallout 4 or Cyberpunk 2077, I like top down RTS myself but prefer single player with a plot line to multi player except in one on one or multiple faction large map strategy game's.

If you can remember Activisions old game Battlezone it is now updated and free for some quick fps/base building strategy hybrid gaming www.battlezone1.com... the red odysee expansion is harder to get to work so stick to the battlezone if graphics are not your worry this was one of my favourites a long time ago, you can also find Battlezone 2 combat commander also now free if you look around but like morrowind the first one just had more style.

God I am old I just had a flash back of playing space invaders on an old Grandstand one game computer with an adaptor plug.

Fallout 4 is going to make me go Nuka, I can't wait. CP2077 looks brilliant as well, seeing as that it started out as a TTRPG.

Is there any news regarding Fallout 4? I heard something about Boston, although I believe that was proven to be false?

I'm just as in the dark as you but Bethesda would be foolish to continue neglecting such a powerful franchise in place of Elder Scrolls. My only worry is a watered down (gentrified) character system a la Skyrim.

Sorry deleted the first post, late night for me and I just noted the date on that was 2011 so real old.

The Skyrim char system would't work for Fallout, so yes let's hope they don't use it.

Nope. I just hope it gets the respect it deserves.

Agreed, I hope they don't go the "updated graphics but lackluster storyline" route.

The Chargen after initial body/race/face etc need's to be more interactive with a basic intro plot and level or interior cell in which your actions will dictate your basic skill set, strengths and weakness so that from there the player would built up there character with a sci fi deus ex (the original one) cyberpunk style physical expansion possibility with bio or technology implants that may also effect the way your player character appears and other characters interaction with them, still they have to balance it between complexity and player ease of use, too complicated and the casual gamer will simply not get hooked no matter how good the plot, I liked the fallout three bunker level but it was too short and not interactive enough where I think each stage should have been more interactive and longer.

I'm not much of a gamer but I like Diablo. That one was cool. The Lord of the Rings game was good, too. I heard there was a Dungeons and Dragons game coming out, if you like that.

Here's video for the online game:

Here is another for Xbox

This one is Neverwinter. It looks cool.

" I liked the fallout three bunker level" are you referring to the Start of the game, where you are in the vault?

Have you tried Star Wars: The Old Republic?

^^^^ This

The cool thing about it is that it is story-based, and there are eight separate stories to go through. The quests are many and varied. There is ample crafting opportunity. The planets are very different from one another. I've been into it pretty heavily for two years and have not begun to exhaust the possibilities. It's F2P if you want to try it out, but much better with a sub. I or someone else who plays can get you a referral code for a free full trial if you want. I'm hesitant to publish one here because it is basically a shameless plug that would give me free goodies as well as you and is probably against T&C.

But check it out at star wars
