What murder is this now? Bush never lied about what he was going to war with Iraq for- he said that he was going to liberate Iraq from Saddam and so he did! I don't know what the "liberals" have made it out to be- but by your description it seems to be pretty far from the truth!

I was under the impression that we went to war for WMD. Or does THAT filter through the mind(less) of Bush supporters. JEEZ give me a break with your LIES. We went for WMD didn't find any and THEN were told it was to LIBERATE the people (read OIL).

I'm sorry to dissapoint you further but according to this page this is why..

IN GOD (GOLD, OIL, DRUGS) WE TRUST

Make no mistake about it. The United States is preparing for war. Events immediately following the 2000 US election debacle are ominous predictors for the Bush-Cheney Administration. While not all of the cabinet posts are yet filled, the key posts of Treasury, Defense, Justice and National Security Advisor point to the most militarised oil-and-big-business-friendly administration in 35 years.

So thorough is the plan for control of the government that the son of Secretary of State (Designate) Colin Powell, in an appointment which has yet to receive much notice, has been appointed the new Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission. This is the body which monitors and polices all commercial broadcasting in the United States.

With Colin Powell as Secretary of State, Donald Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense and Dick Cheney as Vice-President, the highest levels of the US Government now house two former Secretaries of Defense and the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The new National Security Advisor, Condoleeza Rice, while African-American, has a long track record of service to Republican administrations and also sits on the board of directors of Chevron Oil, which has recently named an oil tanker after her.

Her lacklustre operational credentials indicate that she will probably serve as the designated messenger between Bush, Powell, Rumsfeld and Cheney and as the African-American poster girl for coming military adventurism.
Of special interest as this story goes to press is the strongest rumour among my sources that current CIA Director George Tenet, appointed to the post by President Clinton in 1997, will remain in the new Bush Administration. Based upon this writer's study of CIA operations and history, this strongly suggests two things. Firstly, it implies that the CIA, as a non-partisan servant of Wall Street, feels that its interests have been - and will continue to be - well served by Tenet, who is well liked at Langley.

Most importantly, however, it suggests that there are operations, both covert and otherwise, in motion under CIA control which are moving at a speed and with a force that will not accept a break in rhythm for a change in directors. Most critical among these would be the start of the planned conflict in Colombia.

This all just liberal propaganda! Not based in facts ! Lies incessantly ? That makes someone a Satanist? Couldn't come up with some thing better?
Where do you come up with this stuff ? AT liberal-lies.com

LOL! As much as this belies your belief system, it's all fact, and documented too. Read on Skull and Bones and their rituals.

As for lies? Have you forgotten the Iraq war?

He addressed the nation immediately after he got back from the school or does that slide through the "liberal" memory. The patriots act was passed much later...and the holiday was also much later- after the invasion of Afghanistan.

ROFL - Of course he had to address the nation. What that just shows, that Bush deemed telling a story to children to be more important at that moment, because of his wonderful heart of course, and nor did his reaction show he was shocked either. -- Oh but he must have been weeping inside

Saddam was guilty of making America believe that IRAQ had WMD. He was the kingpin of Anti-america sentiment in the middle east and the true Satanist you make Bush out to be.

ROFL -So it was Saddam's fault Bush thought he had WMD? Boy, have they got you good.

He is sworn to secrecy to keep hush on a fake-murder and lies to the people on the reasons he's going to war with Iraq.

What murder is this now?

It is part of the ritual of the S&B where the members are shown a staged dramatized murder and asked to keep quiet.

Bush never lied about what he was going to war with Iraq for- he said that he was going to liberate Iraq from Saddam and so he did! I don't know what the "liberals" have made it out to be- but by your description it seems to be pretty far from the truth!

ROFL - I have never laughed so much ever. So, ahem, did you forget that he told you the war was for WMD? And, when there was no WMD, he told you this war was for LIBERATION, and now when there is no liberation, now it's a WAR ON TERRORISM which basically means Iraqi's fighting the US oppression.

If can target Bush just because he is a republican and then claim to be unbiased about political orientation that just ludicrous.

Ok, I'll stop rolling on the floor laughing. Because that just shows or rather confirms you have absolutely no clue about anything. I am against Bush because he's an evil dictator who has the blood of millions of innocent people on his hands. I don't care if he's a republican. I don't think neither do the other "democrats" right Horus?

Carl Rove won the election. I figured it would have been him
named as man of the year.

I'da gone with Mel Gibson. He made a powerful film that touched
every country. He made it even though hollywood fought him
every step of the way. The reported miracles that have happened
from those who have viewed the film are AMAZING. (let alone
those that aren't reported).

That's Exactly what I said earlyer..This has nothing ,well not specifically to do with just Bush Bashing..The WHOLE administration is a dodgy one..He could have been a Greener...which by the way he is..when it comes to diplomacy..but what matters is THe Whole World at large..How many people have to die for this..what ..Oil...Democracy..The word Of 'GOD'..Bible..

It's all about Total Control Of Global economy and manipulation of all people, but it ain't working and it will not..Why do you think that Bin Ladin will not give up..What does He KNOW...not what he wants..that we more or less know ourselves...
But He KNOWS Exactly how this administration works and what it's goals are..he KNows..Hell ..he fought for them against the Russians..Keeping them AWAY from the resources of the region was of stratigically Huge importance, this did'nt start on 9/11...it's busy scince the days of Carter..

Father Bush went in and for some freak reason Clinton came to power..The World was at peace...That did'nt suit the Republicans..Bush junior Had To come to Power to further the cause...that's when Bin Laden Acted....do you get the picture...

These choices were all real controversial and had nothing to do with their "humanity":

Hitler: 1938

Stalin: 1939, 1942

Khruschev: 1957

Khomeini: 1979

There have been several other odd choices throughout the years, check out all the covers starting in the '20's here: www.time.com...

So...what does this mean exactly....I'm sure I can find Gandhi in there somewhere...I think the topic has moved from the actual Picture..and more on the person himself..NOW..

If this forum exsisted in the time of Stalin I would have posted the same thread...
This takes me back to the thread that fredT posted about the death penalty..
We are so fascinated by these wild Dictators, murderers and so forth that we want to know what makes these people tick..We immortilize them in History..we look at TV.shows of serial killers and their almost artistic works..duh..The media manipulates Us all so bad that we want to read about the most grusome murders, and try to ask why..what..when did they become this way..the Mendes brothers,Jack the Ripper...notice I'm even using capital letters otherwise it would not be proper writing...

We are meer slaves to our own curiocity,we are amazed at the phsychi of such madness... This is a PERFECT EXample ...and that was my initial Point from the start....

It's an amazingly strange dilemma to say the least...NO...

There's nothing odd about a villain appearing as man or person of the year.

The criteria are explained in simple terms by Time as follows:

Mr Kelly said he and his staff debated giving the award to others, including Karl Rove, the president's influential political adviser, and filmmakers Michael Moore and Mel Gibson.

The winner must be "the person or persons who most affected the news and our lives, for good or for ill, and embodied what was important about the year, for better or for worse," he said.

If Bush is surrounded by the stench of needless death, high crimes and corruption, extreme arrogance, election fraud, and re-appearance for a second term to do just the same all over again, then he deserves to be remembered on this cover.

The fact that this administration will be remembered through history as the worst of all time makes it an even more apt choice.
