BS conspiracy theories take away from the real conspiracies.

I've been on the CT boards for 10+ years. I was a conspiracy theorist back in the 1980s. The reason I made this thread is because conspiracy theories are a laughing stock now for the reasons I stated.

I had a very good reason for making this point. I mean how much stock do you think we carry informing other people in the world. When we are laughing at each others conspiracy theories posted on these sites?

I lurked on this site for a while. I am pretty outspoken I was reluctant to join because of the serious moderation as opposed to other sites. But since I've joined I found it a blessing.

I kind of disagree with you in part but have to disagree on your belief that you have the decision to decide on what is worthy and what is not. As I said earler all CT is belief based on available information, nothing more.

As I said pick something specific, start a thread and thrash it out with interesting argument, facts and a sense of respect and humour.

I agree the manipulation is right out there for everyone to see. But no one is going to listen when people state the Zionist control it, the Rothschilds control it, the central banks control it (which is probably true) or The Rockefellers control at all.

If we stuck to the facts people might listen but all the other BS involved make people laugh at us.

Has anyone noticed how I have routinely used the word us in this thread ?

Several posters have attacked me making claims that I am not a conspiracy theorist. Well I am I'm just tired of all the BS posers making up ridiculous theories for their own entertainment.

More specifically, it's based a lack of available information. The "prove it's not true" meme is the essential element.

I am in no way decided what people should believe in. I have brought up my opinion on the current issues on CT sites. You are familiar with the word opinion aren't you?

I have come across the word in the past yes.

All I have ever tried to say is that I personally think you would be better of being more specific in your thread so as to have some form of focus to the discussion.

Also for someone who constantly uses the phrase "we" you seem to have something of a seperatist manner when someone disagrees with you.

I'll check out the thread you posted thanks. BTW have you seen any of the post I've shown where Russia also took trillions of dollars in natural resources when they annexed the Crimea? That was just a bloodless war for oil/ gas.

I plan on making some threads. I'm still new here and learning how to insert images and such. I have two in mind there are going to be doozies keep an eye on my name.

Thanks for the reply on Nibiru. When I tried to bring up other subjects/conspiracies that is one of the first questions people ask me while they're laughing. Do you believe in Nibiru!!!

That's why I am tired of all the other garbage on these sites it belittles us in other peoples minds.

Any site that depended only upon the discussion of "real" conspiracy theories would not generate much content. Since, as pointed out, conspiracy theories can only thrive in an environment of sparse evidence they lead necessarily to speculation in order to persist. Where do the lines of speculation end? When speculation ends, so does the discussion.

Totally agree but I think that another huge element that has grown is the idea of conspiracies as entertainment.
