Why did you post a link to a forum? Just post the RT source that the forum linked to.

rt.com...

Because I wouldn't get the pleasure of seeing you piss and moan.

What are we supposed to do? Can you at least admit it's deeply and horribly wrong?

If I admitted this, would you believe me? Just curious because I've said that I don't agree with ISIS many times over the last so many weeks and am not apologizing for them yet the hate continues to mount against me for my anti-war stance.

Feeling a bit persecuted are we?

I haven't said anything one way or another except that it is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Just curious really. I could care less what my popularity is here and who likes me and who doesn't. To be honest, it is very illuminating to me when the person I am talking to starts hating me over not wanting to go to war. Watching them make up insinuations about my beliefs so they can justify the hate. Then I get to watch the conversation spiral downwards as the posts become more emotionally charged. To me, it appears these people want war for reasons that go beyond just stopping ISIS.

Oh, dear, that is just too funny.

You should save that response and look at it good and hard the next time you go about trying to accuse me of whining about being persecuted as a Christian.

Destroying art, antiquities does not change history. It makes these people criminal vandals. The very bottom of humanity. Just plain stupid and unappreciative of other's efforts. Cultural History of Humanity lies in art. I remember seeing destroyed Buddas statues in National Geographic. These people are like pigs that poop all over everything. People should stop being cowards and protect their human history from vandalism. Bullies must be stopped.

So when I am logically deconstructing your religion or arguing to remove some form of Christianity from the government causing you to claim Christian persecution, you really see this as me trying to go to war against Christians?

I haven't seen where anybody on here wants all out war. People just want ISIS to knock it off with their sh!t.

This is what gets to me every time,

People get outraged when Islamic believes and laws are executed in the middle east causing death, chaos, destruction and mayhem, Religious ignorance run rampant, be Isis or else, what this people gets out of the destruction of historical items is beyond me.

But what gets me the most, is how the apologist here in the US find no problem catering to the same Islamic believes been pushed into our own society, rewarding Islamic believes with holidays and preferred treatment due to protecting religion.

While people condemn what Islamic believes are doing in other countries, here our nation is actually rewarding them.

People doesn't get it, either that or propaganda alone with the apologist have them blind.

This the face of Islam, regardless if is Islam believers in the middle east or here in the US, their law is above any other laws and their law is to be followed regardless.

Wake up people.

I make no apology for the ignorance of fundamentalist view.

Well it seems IS does have a presence in Egypt...

(Reuters) - Islamic State, fighting to redraw the map of the Middle East, has been coaching Egypt's most dangerous militant group, complicating efforts to stabilize the biggest Arab nation.

A senior commander from the Sinai-based Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, which has killed hundreds of members of the Egyptian security forces over the last year, said Islamic State has provided instructions on how to operate more effectively.

Egyptian security officials say leaders of Islamic State and Ansar have established contacts. Meanwhile, militants based in Libya have also forged ties with Ansar, creating a complex web.

www.reuters.com...

So here's one to think about...what if these acts are done by a homegrown Egyptian group affiliated with IS, and do those acts in the name of IS?

YOU may feel that way, but then again you address me with a bit more respect than other posters have regarding this topic in the past, so I wasn't really talking about you with that post. Others not so much.

No, I'm just pointing out the irony of that statement. It's sad that you really don't see it.

You do not "logically" deconstruct anything when it comes to faith. You do get ever more shrill and anti-religious though and ever more emotional.

That's a lot of explosives to destroy the pyramids. They'd need complete control and have time to engage in the destruction at their leisure.

I'm serious...why hasn't some rich person bought a huge "freedom barge" and put out a call for "Christian Soldiers" to head on a new crusade?

I mean, we've seen weirder cults and stranger things done in the name of religion.

The Muslims in this country aren't blowing up historical artifacts though... Also, why shouldn't Muslims get holidays? Christians and Jews have religious holidays that are honored in the country.

While people condemn what Islamic believes are doing in other countries, here our nation is actually rewarding them.

This is why Obama doesn't call ISIS Muslim terrorists but just terrorists. People like you believe that ISIS represents the entirety of Muslim belief.

People doesn't get it, either that or propaganda alone with the apologist have them blind.

That's pretty funny because the Muslims I work with all appear to obey American law and aren't trying to get everyone to obey Sharia law here.

Wake up people.

I make no apology for the ignorance of fundamentalist view.

You should make an apology for your brash labeling of an entire group of people based on the actions of a few though.

Just like there are people traveling there to fight for ISIS, there are also people who are going there to fight with the Peshmerga too. You hear about them from time to time. One of them was an Aussie who was killed recently. I've heard about some Americans who went and I think there was an article about a European biker gang who went that was posted here?

Is very simple to understand that any Islamic practicing country will unite in their Islamic laws, the only thing that makes this people different from each other is the tribal background, this tribal divisions is what makes them fight with each others.

So, once people knows this facts is easy to understand how the people in this Islamic countries will turn against their own Islamic states.

My passive aggressiveness isn't the same thing as professing hate for Christians. If you have EVER seen me insinuate that I'd like to wage war against Christians or hate them then you need to post it, because I have stressed many times over that I hate the religion of Christianity NOT the people who worship it (though I do wish at times they'd look at their religion a bit more rationally, but that is their own battle to fight). IRONICALLY this goes back to me talking about people insinuating things about me that I never said.

By the way, if I were more familiar with the Muslim religion, I'd do the same for that religion too. I just hate religion. It is an awful human invention. But I make sure not to hate the people who worship them.

You miss the hole issue and that is what Islami is and what is done in its name, we are not talking about Christians, Jews or any other religious believes.

The last time I check it is Islamic believes the ones been in the spot light right now.

And yes it is been acts of terrorism in the US, so yes Islamic believes has killed already here in the US.

What is happening in the middle east with ISIS, Alqaida and the Taliban can happen in any country including the US once the common believes takes over, that means aligning to their base of that believes and laws.

So, do not try to detract from the main Issue because Islam and their law is the same anywhere you go and doesn't change just because Islam moves from one continent to another one, the basics of their believes is the same

Remember is only one Islamic law.

if they get even close to doing that, and we still don't bomb them out of existence, then we just need to accept them as our rulers and stop just faking outrage.
why is nobody doing anything concrete about these idiots? can someone give me a direct answer?

The question has been answered long ago, its just that you may not choose to accept it. If a bunch of knife wielding desert vagabonds can just openly trounce their way through the desert, multiple countries, and are fighting alledgedly against at least 6 countries, meanwhile every single thing they are doing is serving the interests of the west, and Israel and SA, with no sign of being stopped, then one must stop and wonder if maybe, just maybe ISIS really IS just a bunch of idiot rebels being armed financed and controlled by the US/Israel/SA....

Ahhhh, the joys of religion. It's times like this I thank god I'm an atheist.

Just like in Iraq when the US invaded the second time, american soldiers were destroying ancient artifacts in the birthplace of man. This is simply the US trying to destroy any evidence of our past civilizations. Besides, I would LOVE to see "ISIS" try and get anywhere near the sphinx or the pyramids, I guarantee it would be a decision they would always regret.
