A bit. But I think realistically both companies jumped the gun on releasing there consoles early. I see why they did it, to get on the market early,
but realistically if both systems were coming out today or at a latter date, there would have been a jump in hardware for both systems and more better
games out on them.
Cant comment on the order as I did not play it. But other then its a short game, which is probably because they pushed it to be an early release what
can you expect it was supposed to be a flagship game on the PS4. But really that seems to be the thing which everybody holds against it, its short.
Other then that its pretty dam good in every other aspect, graphics and gameplay and all else. So if it was a longer or had a multilayer people would
be saying different things about it now.
But ya, for the most part it takes much longer to make a good game sometimes much more then the lifecycles of consoles. I mean look at a game like
Final Fantasy XV, the game has been in development for over 9 freaking years, went through a whole bunch of phases and graphical developments and who
knows what, in fact we got I think like 3 different Final Fantasy 13 games, in that time and two variations of final Fantasy 14, and a bunch of other
games as well from the same company. And considering that the average console lifetime is 6 to 8 years? Well you do the math. The only thing I can
say, in all that time they must have done something to make FFXV stand alone, and from the vids I seen it does that.
But really when you look at it. Unless its one of those games which they pump out every year with a bit of a update most games do take a lot and a
lot of time to develop, sometimes pushed back for years and years just for the right time when the technology comes along to realize it.
So ya! I am a bit miffed with some of these new games out, and if the PS4 or any of them came out next month, really we would not miss much in terms
of games. They did jump the gun like I said on this, I think simply to get it all out there earlier and so that companies already have something to
work with for a future date, instead of guessing on what they have to do, or the limitations on the hardware which they are not familiar with. So ya!
it is what it is. In all the first cycle of games there generally is one or two good games and the rest are kind of filler, most great games come
out in latter cycles of a consoles lifetimes.
