The Nigerian militant group Boko Haram has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, according to reports citing an audio message.

The message, published on Boko Haram’s Twitter account cannot be immediately verified. According to reports, it was likely to have been recorded by the group’s leader.

Wow, that is somthing. looking at the area's controlled they seem to be a large group.

Yeah I saw this as well on BBC looks like they have sworn a Bay'ah towards the leadership of IS. It will be interesting to see how this will play out, it could just be symbolic or it could mean that now the leaders of IS will take direct control over Booko Haram providing them with support and direction which would change the structure of both groups. In recent months IS has take allegiances from groups all over the middle east, the beast is growing.

I guess they are letting them build up their forces until they are big enough to call for UN invasion forces and total control of north Africa and the ME.

I still say we have to act now because this is not just a threat to the middle east and africa, this a threat to the world.
God knows how many isis followers are living in the uk, waiting to strike.

If we don't act soon, it will be too late. Why are we not on the ground in the middle east? This threat is worse than the threat in Afghanistan. All western countries should unite against this threat. But thats easier said than done i guess.

I don't know, i don't like militery conflict, wars etc, but i have a bad feeling about this, that this could turn into something nasty
