Not being a lawyer, I am unsure of whether or not the pranksters actions to the mans automobile constitute an "assault." I'm not trying to be funny, I think this could be construed that way...any lawyers know?

An assualt requires one to feel threatened, clearly this guy had no fear, hence h wasnt assaulted.
In the uk that device would be illegal, and he would quite rightly have been arrested! He should have called the cops, not become judge jury and executioner!
